I cannot say enough kind things about this bakery! I drive an hour+ for these beautiful, delicious creations and wouldn’t go elsewhere! In 2020 I had Petite Sweets do an order of a couple dozen of detailed cupcakes for my baby shower, and I was so pleased with them!!! The attention to details was so awesome, they were better than I even envisioned them! And, the best part was they were ACTUALLY delicious! The cake was moist, and the buttercream isn’t overly sweet, and is a wonderful consistency! I’m a huge cake fanatic, so when I actually find a cake that is as tasty as it is visually pleasing, I’m a fan! So this weekend I had Petite Sweets make a smash cake and a two-tier cake for my son’s first birthday party! I sent over some pictures for reference, told them what I liked and didn’t like, what flavors we wanted, and they made the delivered the most perfect cake for him! I am so sad I didn’t get a picture, as I had the unfortunate luck of not having my cake make it home in the two solid pieces it left the bakery in, but that was entirely my fault, the road, and 93 degree weather’s fault. But I couldn’t be sad. I knew it was going to be delicious, and I fixed it the best I could! (Not one single person noticed, that didn’t know what happened) Everyone was talking about how delicious it was and took seconds home! My son was up past midnight, so that was his way of saying he approved of his cake, as he ate enough to keep him wide open all night. This establishment is welcoming and attractive from the start, as they always have adorable window art, and super friendly employees! The girl who was working when I picked up my cake was so sweet and polite! I am so thankful to have found this wonderful...

Rachel is an absolute artist! We ordered 250 mini cupcakes for our wedding of 100 people in Roan Mountain.

Small background note- we planned this wedding from 2,200 miles away, so internet reviews were our main decision making tool.

She not only went above and beyond for our needs, but she made the most delicious **ing cup cakes we've ever had. They were amazing. We used one of her cake stands and everything from presentation to perfect taste was nailed out of the park. Absolutely killed it! My only regret is we never actually got to meet her in person! We did all of our planning over the phone and SHE HAND DELIVERED our cupcakes to the venue (45m away from her bakery!) and when we dropped off our cake stand the Monday after the wedding it was her day off.

But other than our wedding planner (Honey Bee Events from Knoxville) Rachel was far and away the absolute most helpful when it came to recommendations as to places to have things like our rehearsal dinner, where to get our kegs from, good local breweries, etc.. She was a wealth of local knowledge and super friendly on top of being incredibly accommodating to our quirky confetti cake flavored cupcakes. Who says you can't have confetti cake at a wedding??

I am modifying my former 5 star review based on my experience with Petite Sweets today. As one of the only bakeries in the area that can accommodate allergen-free ingredients and reasonably provide assurance that their equipment is clean and sterilized at start of day, I have used Petite Sweets for going on 5 years, with large cake or cupcake orders four times per year (I have four children with allergies).

I contacted the bakery on 9/17/19 for a simple dozen cupcake order for today 9/25, with a plan of another two dozen on Saturday, 9/28.

My husband arrived with zero contact from the bakery one way or the other, and they claimed that an order I made over the phone during the Harley rally didn’t exist. I spent over 15 minutes on the phone with an employee who specified that she was getting a red pen to note the milk and gluten allergy on the form.

When this error brought to their attention, the employee I spoke with this morning copped an unnecessary attitude with my concern about cross contamination, and told me they can get to the cupcakes in an hour and a half. I scheduled this pickup for 10:15 this morning specifically to accommodate my daughter’s birthday festivities.
