Food Shop — Local services in Johnston City

This isn't a "major/corporate" business like many of us are used to seeing. I find the prices are a bit high but it is to be expected..Owning a business in itself is insanely expensive, taxes through the roof, i cant imagine the regulations they have to meet. And there are sales, many things that are very fairly priced. I only wish they'd check their produce more often..it was $3.79 for a bag of salad that expired that same day. I'm not complaining as a consumer, because while there were 10 other bags that were the same; it shows me they DO care to buy extra product for their customers for a holiday season. I absolutely LOVE how they BBQ season their porksteaks& chops. Idk what it is, I'm not sure if I want to lol it is delicious!! ALSO, I'm hoping the ittybittys aren't gone forever, they're life changing. Wow! What a hidden gem. I have been there 3 times now. The hibachi is always fresh and hot. I have tried the chicken and the steak, and both have been tender and flavorful. The egg rolls are also fresh with good taste. The workers are pleasant and friendly. Prices are more than reasonable. Food portions are very large. Wait times are usually short. The only negative comment I have is I don't like the Styrofoam containers. The yum yum sauce is a little too spicy for me but does come in a separate container. This is the only place I will buy meat. They have the best meat quality and better prices than most places around. I trust their quality and they carry our favorite hard salami, which we only buy here. Great selection of cheeses too. I very much love their BBQ seasonings in the tubs by the meat counter.

Also, I like how they normally carry some items that I love, that I have a hard time finding anywhere else. Specific flavors of Kool-aid, cherry no-bake cheesecake, and more. They've always been that way and I like the fact that I can support a local business by buying my favorites that...
