In a nutshell we didn't get what we wanted. We had them come out and do a quote for us to get an entire roof replacement and new gutters. We were very specific in email and in person that we wanted wider gutters and a wider downspout. We even got a response back from the guy that gave us a quote that said he would put the wider gutters in the estimate, however we didn't get the wider gutters or downspout when they were installed. Our quote was kind of vague as it says the gutters would be "up to" 5 in and we wanted the widest gutters and again, made it clear as we have a really bad problem with leaves and pine needles. And they just installed the same as we had before and wasnt expecting that . They had to use the third party to do the gutters, and no one from Blue Frog was out here to do any kind of supervision as far as we know after or during the project. They just showed up in the beginning and that was it. So if the wrong stuff was put up, it was never noticed by them. The response time was a bit slow. They did a decent job but we just paid for something that wasn't really what we wanted and there was really no action helping us out. We recently had a roofing project in our community. Blue Frog Roofing was very professional and communicated months & weeks in advance with homeowners and the HOA and Management Company about the roof project and what it entailed. Blue Frog Roofing was onsite several times months in advance to review the property and communicate with the HOA & Management Company about parking, materials storage and blocking off the driveway for safety of the crew. A week before the project began notices were posted on the property bulletin board and the Management Company emailed every owner the schedule and instructions to move all personnel property away from the buildings during the project, this included notifying all owners that parking spaces and access to garages would be restricted during at day and date of the of the new roofs being installed and to move vehicles. Blue Frog Roofing had onsite Supervisors that were very professional and knowledgeable and polite. Each day was definitely different doing 3 buildings a day for a total of 22 building in 8 days, Blue Frog Roofing Crew was very friendly and professional and cleaned up every evening. Working with Blue Frog was a great experience from start to finish. Lane Joseph came out to our house for an inspection when we had a pretty severe leak. We were hopeful that we could get insurance involved, but after Lane assessed the roof he told us that the issue was not weather related, rather, it was due to poor construction. There was an addition built onto our house and that section of roof was a flat tar and gravel roof, which essentially acted as a pool whenever it stormed. Lane used his expertise to build a quote that would solve our issue. They installed shingles on the steeper section and a rubber material called EPDM on the flat section. The work was completed beautifully and efficiently. Once they put the new gutters on everything really looked great. Dealing with the restoration contractors for the interior work was a major headache, so in comparison it was really great to have this experience go so smoothly.
