My son came in for the sale that was just held on April 24th, 2025 to buy a firearm. He asked the person helping him at the gun counter to help him look the guns over for defects and make sure they were ok because I am a disabled veteran and no longer able to go to stores to look things over for him. As soon as he pulls the gun out of the box, I immediately notice that one of the screws for the red dot was backed out very far. It turns out the screw is cross threaded. I called and the guy who answered said basically, "that sucks" you'll have to call the manufacturer. Well, we've been calling the manufacturer since he got home with the gun, and no response. They don't answer their phones. Tried email. They're not answering there either. Might fine of you to send people home with guns that have to be immediately returned to a non-responsive manufacturer, after a customer says he has no idea what to look for when buying a gun and asks your customer service representative for assistance. Really not cool at all.

Would honestly say, a little less than five stars, however, more than four would be my true rating. Brand new store in tiptop shape, employees seem helpful and friendly, albeit a bit shy. Needed some coupon help at the register and the manager seemed a bit bothered, first impressions are everything. Prices are decent, however, I need consistent livestock supplies all the time and have found Murdochs to be a couple dollars on everything. So that being said, the coupon brought me in, yet, I have my loyalties elsewhere. For livestock supplies in this area, this store will do.

Decent supply store. Missing a few things here and there, but overall not bad. It is more of a main stream country store playing music over the store while the high schoolers stock shelves. Nice enough place when you need a quick bag of pellets for the grill or some quick item for a home project.

Let me start off by saying the store is clean and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

The reason for the low rating is that while this store does have nice western style and clothing, the rest of the store is largely ranch and farm supplies. I suppose I cannot speak for everyone, but I feel what they stock is not what the market around here needs. I went in looking for some gardening supplies, ie dirt, edging, mulch, wheelbarrow, etc, but they really had none of it. Their website shows everything they have in-stock, but it does not explain that it is not in stock in the store. So while I initially thought they had some of the items i needed, they didn't when i got there. Even though I live a few blocks away, ended up having to go to another store to get what I needed.

I just feel that people in our area do not need 3 aisles of horse feed and an outdoor section containing heavy duty ranch fencing. Yes. We are a bit more rural, but it would be nice to work on an outdoor project and have a place nearby which sells stuff that can be used in day-to-day projects and not having aisles of heavy chain, trailer tires, and other farm equipment.

I think if their website showed what the actual store has in-stock and they included more general items for household and gardening projects, I would be more likely to shop there again. It is a waste of time to look at their website or to go in looking for any sort of suburban backyard project material. If they switch things up a bit, I'd be more likely to go back, otherwise commuting to Loveland for projects will continue to...

Very disappointed with a recent attempt at a purchase I made online with this store. I kept them up to date on my pickup date. When I arrived at the store to pickup my purchase the cashier called over the radio to Chris. He informed her he was finishing up with a client and would help me once he was done. He also said that the item I was picking up was "buried" which somewhat surprised me. The cashier asked me to go around back to the loading dock to wait for assistance. After waiting 35 minutes without any acknowledgement, I drove back around and spoke to the cashier. She was surprised that I had informed her that I had not been helped. She contacted Chris again on the radio. He said that he got "hung up" at the counter he was working. She then tried to see if anyone else could help to which I asked for my money back and left the store. I made my purchase elsewhere and was very pleased with that transaction. My takeaway is this...The store was very slow. I saw no other employees and very few customers. I did my diligence about keeping them informed and I felt like their customer service skills were lacking greatly. I asked for the name of the store manager which is Ashley Combs. I had every intention of calling her today. I chose not to based upon the belief that I had seen enough from her staff that it was unwarranted. My suggestion would be for the regional management to monitor this store a little closer... I am a very dissatisfied customer and will be sure to shop elsewhere...

Very disappointed in the customer service at Murdochs. I was an FES at Home Depot and we took care of customers when we made a mistake. We went to murdochs to get litter that was advertised online as 40lb clumping for $12.99. When we got there we saw it was non clumping. So we looked around for another litter and saw a 40lb box that is clumping for $14.49, perfect. So we grabbed two and went to the cashier. It rang up as $22 so we were like oh wait that's not what the shelf says. So she calls someone in the area to look. He was struggling so my husband went back and met him. The guy never got back to the lady at the register and my husband came up and said that the guy couldn't find the price of the litter or even figure it out. She didn't offer to change the price or do anything. I work customer service and would never not offer something off. Even if she couldn't do the full difference offering something would have been good service. We will go out of the way to TS for our Dog food and other supplies going forward. EDIT to add. I very much appreciate Murdochs response. That does give me more faith in their care for customers. We understand mistakes happen and we are all human. Feedback to the team is very...
