Bill's Electric Inc. — Local services in Joplin

Tell ya what being a contractor myself here in Joplin MO was absolutely blown away by there service. In the middle of the day my powerer line cable broke away due to Squirrels chewed through the neutral line which then drop a love wire on my metal fence and fryed everything that was plugged in... so i wanted to fix myself but bc the title hadent been changed in there system yet joplin city wouldnt let me do it myself and i called every single electrician with in 150 miles some how i missed bills but when i did call they got to me the next day for a 1/4 of what everyone wanted i simply asked if he minded if he gave me a alist of what they needed so i could go get the materials and he did.. i went and got it and they switched out the box and everythong to the power pole in 5 hours i wad impressed needless to say... city came to inspect and a wrong size wire got ran so they came back on there dime and fixed it thanks...

Had 1 tech out that did great and very nice. Called on another job to repair fallen dining room fan. Tech made a hole in ceiling. My wife was at work so thought that she should be involved in repair options given us. They ended up putting a filler that showed. This house is very new after tornado and we would have liked a neat fix. I got a bill for repair and was charged for them to repair their damage. I promptly paid bill less their damage repair cost as I wanted to talk to them about it. A supervisor, I believe his name was Jack, came out who just wanted paid and absolutely no interest in what I considered legitimate concerns. Also complained that I wanted my wife's input on the type of repair. I was a contractor and when I mentioned that I didn't do business that way he just made a derogatory reply about my business. Then said don't pay it but never call us again....

I'm a solar contractor in Joplin. We use Bill's Electric for our electrical connections and I'm always happy to have them on the job. I was concerned before I called them they would be out of my budget, but they're surprisingly affordable. They're also very responsive, thorough with their work and great with our customers, all of which are a must on our job sites. Their office staff is always great to work with as well.
