I took my 76 year old neighbors 2020 Dell Inspiron 17 laptop to Jeff after it encountered hard drive problems, I'm no stranger to computer repairs myself I knew to use all the tools and options that are on the computer for diagnostic and repair all the way to restoring it back to factory settings, Nothing worked! Another neighbor had used Jeff's Computers in the past, She said he was really good at a really great price, I live about 35 miles away from Joshua so i checked the local repair services and their websites first I decided to make the trip to Joshua, I'm glad i did! Jeff was great he checked the hard drive while i was there and told me he just needed to wipe the hard drive and reload windows, In a couple of hours my neighbors computer was fixed and running faster than it did when she first got it!!! Here is the part she loved best, It only cost $65.00! I know if i had taken my neighbors computer to anyone else it would have cost alot more!...

I had begun to build a AMD gaming rig for the first time. Some new and some used parts. After putting it together and powering it on, I came to discover my monitor wouldn't show a display. I thought either the GPU or motherboard was a dud. Been building my PCs since 2013, so I'm no stranger. I tried everything and couldn't figure it out. My initial thought was a needed BIOS update. Deep down I just wanted to return everything and go back to Intel/Nvidia. Not before checking out some local repair shops. I came across Jeff's Computer Repair. I called him, told him my issue, and told me to bring everything. He tested everything and it seemed the issue was the previous owner had set the GPU's setting to 1440p. My monitor only goes to 1080. Sure enough, got a 1440p monitor, reset it to 1080p, and everything works. Thanks Jeff for pointing out the issue. Didn't charge me a dime for the diagnosis too! 100%...

Took my laptop to a computer repair shop and they told me that it was a motherboard issue even after I explained why I believed that wasn't the issue. They refused to even take a look at it so I found Jeff after a quick Google search. While he also stated that it may be a motherboard issue, he was willing to take a chance with the eDP cable. He only charged me cost for the part itself. It was in fact the eDP cable and he was able to fix it. Although it took some time to complete because of the complexity of the wiring in my laptop, I am confident it was done correctly. The best part is the labor cost was a lot lower than I was expecting. I highly recommend this company and will recommend him to any friends in the future. Thanks...
