Joshua City Park & Splash Pad — Attraction in Joshua

A lilypad splash pad pattern; it has a bumblebee and frog that sput out water and a butterfly with fountain that the kids can walk through the water.... there are 2 tall water things that spray water down like a shower on either end.... then 2 water guns on either end... through out the the thing it has fun little water things that spurt out from the little wholes on the ground.... the water does just a few of the fun water things at a time.

The playground portion is a lot more like a castle now; there is the big kid playground but younger kids can walk under and on the lower level... there is also a younger kids playground that has a short monkey bars, slides, mini games where you slide things around. Also fun little small things to do around the playground area, 2 of the normal type of swings and really big round swings that can handle multiple people... one that swings in a circularly around a pole and the seats are circle disks..... a merry-go-round that looks like a circle in the ground with a little...

I am very disappointed in the city & the maintenance of the park. The grass is not well maintained. They only mowed around splash pad, basketball court & playground. The rest is tall. The amount of trash on the ground is gross. The bathrooms have a broken window & are disgusting. The playground needs more wood chips under playground equipment. And now the splash pad is only half working. Not sure what the problem is with the parks & rec department but this is our city park and it’s terrible that I have to take my grandkids to Burleson parks to enjoy the park. And the communication on their website is poor. No updates as to when the splash pad would open in 2021. I had to call & find out. Very...

The park was beautiful, quiet, not like the last time I was there children playing in the water and running through the park and having fun. Hopefully them days will come again we have They haven't fully open the park yet so the water is not on yet. My granddaughter, her two children and I had lunch in the Pavilion oh, there was a nice cool breeze we all enjoyed it very much. I know we would have more fun if the water would have been on and the kids could have played in the water. Can't wait till they get the water back on and kids can play in the water and we can sit in the Cool Breeze and talk and go for a walk...
