Handy's Liquor — Local services in Junction City

I came in tonight and had the worst experience as a regular. I came in with my boyfriend's card because he was home cooking dinner for the kids. The older lady who was working, I hadn't seen but maybe once or twice. I put my purchase on the counter and handed her his card. She examined the card and stated that she needed his ID to verify his age. Of course, I did not have his ID, but I understood (after years of working in the alcohol business) and proceeded to pay with cash. She DID NOT ID me. I informed her of that and she stated "I know you're over 30" (I am not over 30 as you can see by my profile picture). That was insulting. I will continue to be a customer because this was my only bad experience in the amount of times I've been, but management should know the circumstances in which I left the store...

The very first negative thing I'll say about this company is their prices are sky high they know it and they are unwilling to price match to competitors in the area. Secondly if you get into a dispute with any of their employees and you happen to be right, management will stick by their employee's side instead of the customer always being right. The individuals that are employed by this company are motivated solely off their paycheck instead of serving the needs of the community and customer service. Went in with 2 friends and my brother who was only with us because we ate together prior. Me and my friends each grabbed two 40oz beers and a 4loco.
