Summary: I really do love this place! Details: Superb pub food! And patrons aren't afraid to tell you to 'order the [fried chicken wings]!', or whatever they're having that they find delicious. If there's nothing new I want to try, I always go for the burger because I know I'll not be disappointed. It's soooo good! They've got pool tables, dart boards (when the space isn't being used by music) karaoke Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, open mic on Wednesday, and the owner has a good soul. Most people are friendly and open, and there's a good energy about the place. Even when it's busy, I find a decently-close parking spot because none of them are too far from a doors. The only things that make it but 5⭐ are: the women's bathroom (and maybe men's?)... It's SO small. I'm so glad they leave the door open, otherwise it'd feel claustrophobic (to me), and I don't wish to make the other two public at this time; they're certainly not bad enough to keep me from visiting several times a week...! I never thought I'd be a 'regular', but it draws me to it when I just need to get out of the house and when I plan on doing something in particular, like singing.

A true dive bar, it reminds me of some of the bars in the Goula. I most recently stopped by to drop off something and to say hey to Britt. There was a bday party so it was fairly lively for an early Saturday evening. It was that oddly quiet time on St Patties when ppl were passed out from day drinking or had not made it out to join the green vomit celebrations. I just had a couple Labatts while I caught up with the bartender as I was traveling later that evening. They have pool, darts, jukebox and because it's Michigan, keno and lottery. I've been around for their jumping karaoke nights previously. It's a little too far for me to drink at regularly when I'm in town unless given an invite and a DD. Drinks are cheap and the regular clientele is interesting but nice to strangers. Make sure your car is locked, again dive bar. Haven't had the food here but plenty ppl order it. It's standard bar fare as far as I can tell. Be sure to tip!
