J Scott Couture Bridal — Local services in Kalispell

I've rented tuxes from multiple stores in the Flathead Valley throughout the years for various weddings and prom when I was younger. This place is definitely the worst. Between our entire wedding party, most if not everyone, had some issue. The groom's jacket was way to big (even though he was measured at the store..), along with two of the groomsmen having their jackets too small(again measured at the store).

For myself, I told them my pants length was 32" for the measurement. It ended up being 38" long when I got there. Then they told me I had to wait an hour or come back later (a 2 hour drive round trip). So I waited, twiddled my thumbs and picked up my pants an hour later, which were finally were the right size. And truly, I wasn't even going to write this review until my experience with turning in the tux.

Their store hours that were posted on their website at the time of this review were 10am-4pm. They are actually open til 8pm in the summer they said, after calling me. I was going to turn in my tux on Saturday since I couldn't leave work for 2 hours to return it and come back during the week. Apparently it's a "1 day rental" which is fine, if they would have communicated that, along with accurate posted store hours. Then the cherry on top. The obese woman behind the counter snidely remarks that I'm lucky that they didn't charge me $50 a day after the first day. Considering I didn't sign a form indicating I'd agreed to those terms, they'd be lucky to get it from me.

All in all, avoid this place unless you want a lot of issues...

I had my wedding in 2012 in Bigfork. My entire bridal party including myself was outfitted by J Scott Couture. I loved working with them. I have a very unique style and J Scott had so many different options for me to choose from for everyone in my wedding (including my parents, ring bearer and flower girl). I was able to get very glam, very edgy, slightly over-the-top bridesmaids dresses that I loved. My girls loved them, too, and said they were very comfortable. I absolutely loved the selection of bridal gowns that were available. They have something for everyone and made me feel beautiful on my big day. My husband looked so great in the tux we chose, too.

I was very impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge. We worked very closely with Jacklyn and she helped me have my dream wedding. I got everything I wore (jewelry, petty coat, tiara, garter, dress and shoes) from them and I loved everything. I recommend them to everyone I know who is getting married. I've had 5 friends or family members use them for their weddings and have heard no complaints,

They also carry non-wedding related items in the store, too. I got my favorite handbag there. They have prom dresses, a cool clothing line, handbags, non wedding specific jewelry and shoes. 5+...
