Do not use this company! I rarely leave reviews on the internet, but the way I’ve been treated by Woodland Creek Furniture has been simply awful.
I ordered a bunk bed from them and it didn’t come in the mail for 5 months when the website said 10-12 weeks so at most 3 months. And they only sent it because I was starting to get worried so I called them end of October early November if u remember correctly and they thought I already had it! So I never would have gotten the bed if I hadn’t have called. At first tho they were very helpful saying that they will get the bed send out. It took another month but non the less it arrived in December. The issue is is that the delivery guy opened up the truck and grabbed the first piece and goes “I can’t assemble this, it’s not completed” so he took it back to the warehouse and I was left with a decision. Get a refund or wait for a replacement. I wanted to work with WCF bc admittedly their furniture is beautiful and I wanted to be patient and do my best to work with them for a mutually beneficial solution. The issue is is that I ordered the bunk bed for my roommate and I but because it took so long to get here he ended up getting a bed of his own so I no longer needed a bunk bed. I asked WCF if I could swap the bunk for a regular bed and they were okay with that. So I picked one out and waited for it to be sent. The new bed was delivered February of 2025 and it was the wrong one!!! Like how does a company mess up this bad so many times? They have poor quality control and poor communication with their customers. At this point I should have elected to go with a refund, but once again I thought there was still a reasonable mutually beneficial solution to be found so I once again waited for them to send the correct bed. They did, but this time the foot board was not finished properly. The whole bed is reclaimed barnwood so it has a rougher more rustic look to it which I like, and it isn’t a smooth surface either. The issue is is that the footboard is very sharp and will slice your hand if you touch it. The rest of the bed is properly sanded and sealed so despite its rough and bumpy surface it doesn’t cut into your skin and leave slivers. I brought this to WCF attention and they said they would send me out a patch/repair kit. I told them no thank you, I don’t want to patch and repair the bed I just spend 2k+ on. I want the company I paid to have done the job the right way the first time. So they took the bed back saying they would send it back to be repaired. Well low and behold it was returned in the exact same condition as before. At this point I am very frustrated and upset with how I’ve been treated as a customer and how my patience and graciousness has been taken advantage of. After they kept screwing up my order they would not give a further discount and I was still okay with that being patient and willing to wait for a quality product to come in the mail. Finally, it was apparent to me that WCF wasn’t able to deliver on the quality and customer service they so boldly claim is true on their website so I decided to reach out to them and ask for a full refund since we could simply not reach a fair solution. And you know what I was told? That there would be a 25% restocking fee and that I would have to pay shipping. Do not trust this company. They have poor workmanship, poor communication, poor customer service and they don’t even honor their return policy after they screw up your order after 3+ damaged/incomplete pieces of furniture. How can you expect me to lose out on 25% of my money so that they can go sell this to someone else at full price and have them suffer from a improperly finished foot board that will give you slivers and cuts if you touch it on top of having to pay for the return shipping!! Absolutely diabolical. Mark and avoid WCF they look pretty on their website but my experience has been nothing but terrible work and communication. Read moreI wanted to write a review for Woodland Creek Furniture. I am actually really glad that I ordered my bunk beds from Woodland Creek Furniture. I was in the furniture business for almost five years. I owned my own store so I was optimistically hopeful that I had made a great decision.
I had a nice large room that I wanted to convert to a kids game room and wanted to buy three bunk beds for this same room. I wanted the bunk beds to be strong enough that any size adult could sleep on them. I wasn't sure who would be using them but since I have a lot of grand kids and children of my own, I decided to seek out the strongest beds I could find. I came across Woodland Creek Furniture during my search and found this particular style of bunk bed that I loved. I called the company and Scott was the salesperson that helped me. He was very informative and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I did have an advantage since I had previously been in the furniture business, I knew what questions to ask.
I confirmed twice the color selection and style that I was ordering. Since I was ordering three sets of bunk beds I wanted to absolutely make sure that I was ordering the exact beds and they were absolutely clear on my choices.
I was given an estimated delivery time and was explained the entire process. There is always great anticipation when anyone orders furniture for their home. It is a very personal purchase and one that lasts a very long time. I called to inquire how my order was coming along and Kallie responded very professionally and very directly to my inquiry. My order was delivered just this past week as promised. The Fedex driver called me the day before to notify me of the delivery as was promised. They also had a tracking number that I could follow my shipment from Michigan. The Fedex driver was awesome. He was able to back right up to our garage doors and helped us unload the crates. I was shocked at how well the crates were built.
Of course I had another person there to help me remove the two large crates with the help of the Fedex driver. Once the crates were unloaded the Fedex truck left. We had the crates taken apart within 30 minutes. There was absolutely no damage on the exterior of the crates and the inside was perfect. Their packaging technique was amazing to me. Since I was in the business, I knew how it should be packaged and Woodland exceeded my expectations 100%! Everything was wrapped tight and careful with plastic wrap and cardboard.
I had all three bunk beds set up within several hours. I was missing some wood screws for one of the bunk beds but I was so happy with my beds that I just ran to Home Depot and purchased $7 worth the wood screws. The quality of the beds were a 10 out of 10. The stain and distressing was perfect. We are thrilled with our decision to purchase from Woodland. I feel bad for those customers that have had a bad experience because my was just the opposite.

My personal experience: We ordered a dining table, coffee table, and end table on 3/23/2023 and paid in full at the time of purchase. The estimated lead time on each item was 12-14 weeks. I phoned them in May inquiring about an update. I was given an estimated completion of 6/28/2023 with an additional crating and shipping time of 10-14 days. This window came and went with zero correspondence from Woodland Creek, and I inquired again about an update in the third week of July. I was told that the coffee table and end table were finished, but there was an issue during the quality check of the dining room table and that it had to be sent back to the builder to fix an epoxy issue. I received no update or correspondence at all and reached back out to them on 8/7/2023. I was told and I quote "Your order will be completed tomorrow and will ship in 7-10 business days." After receiving zero correspondence, updates, shipping notifications, etc. again, I contacted them again on 8/21/2023. I was told that the same defect was found during the quality check and that in addition that, the table top had warped, quote, "into the shape of a taco" and that a new table top would have to be made with an estimated lead time of three weeks. I was offered a discount of $360. I was not satisfied with this and the discount offer was increased to $540.
After discussing this with my wife, I canceled the entire order. Then received a phone call from a warehouse manager apologizing. He offered me free white glove delivery, and the $540 discount, and guaranteed that it would ship the following Friday if I kept the order. We accepted the offer and waited. Friday came and went and I contacted them today for an update. I was informed that the entire order was canceled, with no explanation why, and no one had contacted me to tell me this.
