I called a week ago to ask if it was going to be an okay day on Feb 10 to bring my daughter bowling and meet up with friends and the woman on the phone reassured me that it would be. I even told her what time we planned to meet our friends. She said that the 1:00pm time to meet would be fine and failed to ever mention there would be a tournament AND a Bowling League on the same day at the same time. If she would have simply mentioned that we could have changed our plans to come later in the day. But instead when I got there with my two daughter (6&1) I walked up to the counter and I was told we absolutely could not bowl until after 2 o’clock because they no lanes open . Although they have 4 lanes shut down for “back up” and they said they were waiting for the tournament to end?! So they told us to wait. So we did. Then I was asking how to reserve a lane and how to pay and just other regular questions because this was our first time at this bowling alley and the man behind the counter was extremely rude to me. When he did speak to me he talked down to me like a child. (I am a 27 year old woman) A second time I walked to the counter he ignored me until I eventually walked away twice. And a third time I went up with my sister to the counter and he and 2 other staff looked at us and also ignored us. Later after we finally are able to bowl we got yelled at twice by a young staff member who was probably 16 and because our friends child rolled a ball down an empty lane and it got stuck in the gutter? I just wanted to say that no one should bring their family here. Unless you want to be treated like a criminal the whole time you bowl. And ignored and disrespected and yelled at by underaged staff with poor customer service communication. You treated my family and myself unfairly and rude and you made us all feel discriminated against just for what? We ended up paying just as much as everyone else at the bowling alley today I’m sure and yet they treated us like we did something wrong by showing our faces in the bowling alley. You need to learn how to treat all your customers daily. I don’t have a problem with the price like most people. I’m willing to pay for bowling with my family no matter where it is. Came here to bowl with my husband. We normally call ahead to check if there’s any lanes open, but I didn’t today. We go and There were reserved lanes for an event and a couple open lanes. The older man at the counter asked if we were with the group and I said no, we were not. Immediately he says no we can’t bowl today because We aren’t with the group. The women next to him working chimed in and said we can actually play because there’s 5 extra lanes open. Okay yay! But it doesn’t end there. This old man kept saying we can’t bowl. There’s no lanes opening and he’s not putting the chairs down. The women immediately said she will go put the chairs down for us!! This man CONTINUES to tell us we are not allowed to and she doesn’t know what she is doing/talking about. Who talks to their co workers like that Infront of customers?? That was extremely disrespectful and hostile. Thank GOD for the wonderful woman working next to him. She was trying to get us to bowl while the grinch next to her was degrading her and being extremely unfriendly to us. MIND YOU we only bowled for 30mins. There was only 3/4 lanes being used out of the 15 the group had reserved!! As I work In customer service, This old man should not be working in this environment if he is going to steer customers away. Bad for business and definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. I would absolutely love to give this place a 5 star review because of some of the employees there were amazing like Cindy and Patty they were without a doubt amazing and super helpful. However, the older lady in the snack shop if I remember correctly her name was Ashley, she was just god awful nasty, constantly cursing, and every time I went up to the snack shop she was sitting down playing on her phone, she had a very nasty attitude towards the customers. We had order a pizza and she delivered it with the worst attitude ever. She didn’t even say it was here, she just set it on the table and whipped her hair and walked away like she had a stick shoved up her butt. We also were never given a spatula to dish out the pizza. We also spent about 250 dollars there just for a night out which would have been fine if a certain employee would have been somewhat friendly. I would love to be able to take my daughter here more often or to even have her join a league but I’m okay with not giving my money to a business who doesn’t care with how their employees treat their customers. I understand it was one person, but it only takes one person. She is obviously the cancer of the business. Because I heard a lot of other customers also complain about her while bowling.
