I ordered an In Stock disconnect on 10/4, received order confirmation 10/5 with a shocking 5-7 days to process the shipping. I called the store to inquire a tracking number 10 days after ordering because I had not heard received the product. Customer service said it wasn't in stock and they had to order the part from square d and it wouldn't arrive to Gordon electric supply until NOVEMBER 1ST, and THEN they would ship it to me!!! He also said it was a regular part and I could cancel or return it free of charge (checkout says may not be returnable)
Your website said it was in stock. Took over 4 weeks to get. The product was $180, compared to $109 at home depot; I only ordered for Gordon's because the item was "IN STOCK"!!!! The customer service rep said there would be no restocking fee- Yet they wont let me return the item for a full refund now that I would like to do so.
The customer service rep spoke to me as a dullard, and maybe I am because I didn't read the reviews. 30% of the reviews are one star about the same poor customer service, no tracking number, month long waits, overpriced, advertised as In stock on site, blah blah blah- LIES

   Read moreI reached out for a quote on 12/2/19, material was quoted with a 4-6 week lead time & I ordered same day. I reached out for an update on 1/10/20, 3 days before the 6 week due date. I was contacted by email and said an expedite request was put in. I sent 4 more emails in 3 weeks, no response again. Material is now 3 weeks late and the rep won't return my calls or emails. I called in to get with someone else who was more helpful but the problems persisted.
When I did make contact with someone else, it took another week to find out that the facility that MFR's the product had CLOSED. The material was due a month ago at this point per the quote Gordon provided. A few updates and new ETA's later, I have a tracking number and am STILL waiting for the delivery of this material double the MAXIMUM lead time I was given.
The most infuriating part was that there was no attempt to communicate any of this back to me, I had to systematically extract this info out of Gordon Electric step by step, email by email, phone call by phone call and month after month after literal month. I will not be returning and I will not be using the $5 off your next purchase coupon. Not delivering material on time causes planned work to be re-planned and done again for which $5 is not worth...
   Read moreOrdered a transfer switch on February 18, 2021. They said they will ship February 23, 2021. Called it check status on February 24, 2021 as I did not get any tracking information. Told me it was back ordered and will ship March 3, 2021. Not one email or notification about it. I had a job pending on standby. I canceled the ordered and requested a refund as they charged me before it even shipped or was in stock and I also went to Elliot electrical website to order it instead. They shipped it the next day and it’s on the way. False in stock information here. Maybe the in store experience is better, but the online experience is not that great.
Oh yeah, stop blaming COVID as an excuse. I see they do that for several responses. Own up to it and remove the product from stock or rewrite your pages to make it show back ordered. None of any other vendors I order from seem to have a problem with orders at all. Not one single hiccup. I should of checked the reviews. Also, I will be doing a merchant chargeback as they probably will take 6 months...
