Wow!!! I’m blown away!!! The one in Morris used to be this good, but they let it go so badly. The man that owns it put his heart and soul into it, and his family ruined it. But here, at this kankakee one, the bread is super soft, the Italian sausage tastes like Italian sausage!! The hotdogs are the best!!! And the chili dogs are amazing!! I’m so happy to still be able to get my favorite food even if I do have to travel now to get it. I’m not going to lie though, the reviews for the moldy fountain scared me from getting a drink. Since the other reviews are wrong. I may go ahead and try it next time. Also, some reviews said the staff was bad, I didn’t see it this time.    Read moreHi, my family just left the location at 1420 N Hobbie Ave at 4:53pm. The location is open until 7pm. There were two teenage male employees. One spoke to us while the other stood and laughed from a distance. My father ordered 5 hot dogs as his complete order. The employee picked up a hot dog with tongs and held it in the air while it was dripping water. He showed it to us and said they only had 3 and didn’t want to make anymore. We drove from Chicago (over 30 miles) to come for these hot dogs because my parents often ate them while they were dating, even before they had kids. My older parents (and myself) were left so disappointed and shocked at how the employee spoke to us. They laughed at us and said “whatever” when we left hungry saying we would find somewhere else for dinner....
