I needed to replace a couple of leaking fixtures and fittings in my bathroom. I threw the bad parts in a box and ran up to Ace to get what I needed. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a young lady who asked what I needed assistance with. I showed her the parts and told her what I was up to, and she walked me promptly over to find a new faucet, supply lines, and valves to make the repairs. She was knowledgeable, very helpful, and pleasant to work with. I was literally in and out of that store in less than 8 minutes, and finished with my entire project right...

I left the Ace Hardware in Manteno to drive the long extra miles to this location because the cashiers at the Manteno location were so unwelcoming. I'm glad that I did so because the Ace Hardware in Kankakee is so much better. The cashiers are so humble, friendly, and informable. They made me feel so much better because I had been doing farmwork all morning. I was dirty but it didn't matter to them. They treated me how every customer should be treated. The experience I had at this location really brightened up my day. Very authentic, friendly, and welcoming...

Christmas eve morning ran in to pick up a few items that were recognized as being needed by our hosts for the day....

Walked in and was immediately greeted TWICE and asked "What are you looking for?".... After telling the worker he walked me right to the products needed and I was back out the door in MINUTES after spending 1/3 rd less than what was found on line at Wally World....

Will be going back....
