The nursing refresher course has a 3 week 8-12 Monday thru. Thursday which is great for $130. Overall the class is instructed in a dry boring monologue. Due to the state requiring you to have the exact amount of hours even if everyone is finished with the skills and cleaned up their area You have to wait for her to dismiss you at 12. Maybe 11:59:32sec on a good day. Once you walk through those doors as the adult you are that paid for the class is no longer valid. You are treated as a child when it comes to cell phones. Very contradictory because the book, (which you can get for free from Nc department of health and human services on their website online) it’s a no cell phone policy but you can use it to look at the book they have on the screen in front of the class. There is a more eagle eye on the cell phone usage vs actually watching the skills being practiced. Class starts at 8 but she started class with closing the doors at 8:11 to changing it due to people leaving 2 mins prior to 12 one day it’s not the door will close at 8. I absolutely would not recommend...

I wish that I could say my experience was as great as everyone else but I'd have to disagree. I was misinformed by the director just to be told there was nothing that could be done. Im still confused as to what happened... I didn't even receive an apology or explanation for my time being wasted attending a class and lab that I would be dropped from. I was grateful to have been awarded funding despite not being able to use it but then my advisor asked me "how are you going to pay for school?" as if I asked her to cover it.. or like me taking the class didn't matter because I wouldn't be able to afford another one. This school has definitely rubbed me the wrong way and I pray my experience...

I have been calling for more than a week straight and no one ever answer once transferred.
