My girlfriend & I had just purchased products & were regular shoppers here, until they had police officers arrest us with assault rifles drawn at our home in the middle of the night. The store posted $0.01 on two individual packages of their hamburger meat, so we grabbed one with our other items and headed to the checkout. The security guard gave us an obscure look but we get those all the time as an interracial couple. Once the checkout lady realized their error, she quickly made a fuss calling upon the other cashiers attention + the security guard, while having the customer service rep (who I know personally)run the package to the back out of sight. He never came back, requiring me to grab another package of meat from the back of the store. After the dirty looks & the scene the checkout ladies made, we finished paying for our food and exited the store. Once In my vehicle, we noticed the store manager & the security guard came outside & were staring directly at us. On the way out the parking lot, I glanced over & noticed the manager flipping us off. I pulled up right in front of him, exited my vehicle, & words were exchanged. I let him know that was uncalled for, & that he was at fault. Kansas is an open carry state. My registered pistol holstered on my hip is not a crime.secretively, being black while possessing a firearm however is. They arrested me for aggravated assault, wrote me a ticket for disorderly conduct, when no crime had been committed. About a month ago I had an experience with the manager at the store who was very unprofessional. I brought some Orville Redenbacher popcorn and when I popped it it was very stale tasting.

I requested a refund or a item of equal value. He was very sarcastic and boisterous in his manner of tone and try to be intimidating. He wanted me to get confrontational with him but I just walked away after he stated he was not going to give me my money back.

It was not about me trying to get over because I only used one bag and after it didn't taste right I threw it away; nevertheless I continued shopping. 5 minutes later he sent the security guard for me to come back to the service desk and at that time he replaced the popcorn with another box of popcorn. It had the same date as the other box of popcorn that I had brought. I was not satisfied but like I told my wife I'm not in the mood to be confrontational because that always leads to something very bad. I purchased my items and walked out the store as an unsatisfied customer with peace of mind.

The reason that I am posting this is because when I tried to get him to give me information about the owner of the store he refused along with being rude. My concern is if someone was not trying to pursue peace and wanted to be confrontational that might have been a bad bad turn out. I highly recommend that someone sends this gentleman to a resolution class on how to resolve matters in a professional and dignified manner no. If I could give this place zero stars for the service I recieved today, I would! I purched some meat from this place today. Upon arriving home and preparing my meal I realized that there was something wrong with the meat. I returned to the guy in the back that cut the meat in an attempt to get an exchange but was denied in an extremely rude manner. To my amazement, the prices of the meat had been increased. He told me that meat came from a larger portion of meat and that nothing was wrong with the other portions. He declined an exchange and insulted me by incenuating that I was a lier!
