Edit: Returned to Taylor / “Tah’lure” due to the locs in the back of my head slipping out within the first week. Because the installation was so tight around the edges, I lost hair follicles around my edges and had red blisters throughout my scalp. When consulting with Taylor about the removal and re-installation of the three locs along my edges with the most tension, he agreed to re-install them and later ghosted me. Due to inconsistent tightness, 30 minute tardiness of the stylist, and inconsistent communication, I would not recommend receiving the soft loc service from Taylor/ “Tah’lure”.

This is coming from a tipping client that brings her stylist food/starbucks/lunch. I do not mind paying people’s fees but black businesses must do better in their treatment and respect for their clients.
