EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF, POOR FAIRWAYS/GREENS
Iâm a very sub par golfer and enjoy a cheap place to play. I was able to get a good deal with a one oâclock tee time. We were told they would close at 4:30 so we werenât rushing to finish. What we found was barely any fairways and many of the greens had dead grass and sand blotches that made putting nearly impossible. Anyways, after the front nine, we were met at the clubhouse by an outraged manager that my partner and I were sharing clubs. Since it was near a holiday, no one was on the course but us. The manager said we could not continue because he wanted to close at 3:30, an hour earlier than we were told on his website and in person, solely because he wanted to go home early. We asked for a rain check so we could simply return another day to finish the back nine, but our request was met with yelling and ridiculing because we had got a better price than normal. He was rude, even belittling us for not having a set of clubs each and telling us we shouldnât be out on his course, a course lacking greens and decent putting conditions.
In short, avoid this course at all costs unless you want to be ripped off....
Read more$45 for this? Iâve had better luck with mini golf and a blindfold.
Booked a Saturday tee time thinking I was in for a decent round. Turns out I paid $45 to play what felt like a glorified backyard par 3 â if your backyard is shaped like a pretzel and paved with disappointment.
Compared to other local spots like Blue Springs Country Club (same price, usually cheaper, and actually resembles a golf course), this place doesnât stand a chance. The âpar 4sâ are 200-yard noodle holes that wrap 180 degrees around trees like theyâre trying to escape the layout designerâs shame.
Fairways? Nonexistent. Youâre basically teeing off into a patch of crabgrass and hope. The greens look like they just hosted a medieval jousting tournament â divots, craters, and the occasional squirrel trench. And the tee boxes? Bring metal tees or a jackhammer. I bent a regular tee trying to plant it and nearly pulled a hamstring.
If youâre looking for a scenic walk with occasional club swinging and existential regret, this is your spot. Otherwise, save your cash and go chip balls into a laundry basket at home. Itâs more satisfying and you wonât need a...
Read moreCourse was in decent shape (not the cart paths, however). Greens good, fairways were only ok on most holes. But for the price was very reasonable. HOWEVER! Warning to go along. My buddy and I booked online for 18 holes @ $20. When we arrived, were informed that only half the course was available. We asked if we could play the front 9 twice, but he said that it would take us 2.5 hrs to play the front. So we go ahead and play the front 9, and finish in an hour. Go back to the clubhouse to ask to play it again and are informed that there is no way we will finish in time. IT IS ONLY 6PM!!! even if we take twice as long, will still be done by 8. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back to this course again. GET...
