Pure Ultra Lounge — Restaurant in Kansas City

I was visiting the Kansas City area on a work trip. Had a slow Wednesday evening so I decided to visit Legs. It's been a while since my last trip to a strip club. Got there about 9pm and it was pretty slow initially, so settled in to watching the World Series game that was on. Got to talking with the bartender (who is also the owner), and got a really good impression from his attitude about running the club. The security and the fact that the club is clean also show that he is a professional in the business, and wants his customers and performers to be safe and have a good time. He told me that I actually had come a bit early; 11pm was when it really started hopping. And he was certainly right! Actually, when Allie came in to start her shift, he directed her to me and said that I'd been waiting for her to get there... Had a fun evening with everyone and especially Allie, she is awesome but all the other dancers and servers are great too. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to KC and going...

I know strip clubs are all about screwing people over on money but this place takes it to the next level. First, there’s a $10 entry fee (not terrible) I can live with that. Second, after I give the bartender my $10 he proceeds to tell me there’s a 2 drink minimum, which are at least $8 a drink. Third, to get topless dancers, you must pay $350 MINIMUM for a VIP room in which they take off their tops. On top of that, you have to pay ANOTHER $20 per dance when you’ve already paid for the VIP room. What happened to the days where I can go into a club with an entry fee and relax without being required to pay for drinks I don’t want? Absolutely a ripoff, I paid for two regular dances with no touching and no topless dancer and walked out of there with $50 gone cause there was no way in hell I was paying for...

I surprised my hubby with a night out at Legs. To be clear, we both had not been to a club, since our twenties. It was not as we remembered, Legs was much better!

The entire staff and ladies were super friendly, conversational, not pushy at all. It may seem weird to employ this analogy, but it had a “Cheers” vibe. The nightclub has a clean and offered an upscale feel, even though smaller club. I was a bit nervous that as the wife, I may not be welcomed, as I had read other clubs in KC had that issue. I’m happy to report that everyone was welcoming and so sweet. The ladies are kind and very beautiful. Thank you everyone for making our evening fun.
