Started coming to this shop because my barber, Mike, switched locations. From the first visit, I was in awe. You walk in between velvet red ropes and upon entering you’re greeted by someone and offered a complimentary refreshment. I’m pretty high maintenance so the overall presentation of the shop was very refreshing (considering this is the dopest barber shop I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting cut at) and impressive to say the least. The shop has a very modern aesthetic, from the lipstick red accent walls, to well lit vanity mirrors and flat screen TVs that play the hottest and most popular music videos. They have the latest and greatest technology, from the lighting to their clippers. The price point is a tad more than what I’m used to paying but considering the premium service I’m getting in return, it’s totally worth it! I should also mention that since Mike has been out of town for the past few weeks, my substitute barber has been Nandy and he’s just as good. Yet another unprofessional Barbershop. It behooves me that so many barbershops here are soo interested in putting on this facade of "coolness" that they are unable to be welcoming to potential customers. It's a service industry and professional service is more attractive to professional clientele. Katy is not "the hood" so why come to the area with a hood type barbershop attitude

The barber that I spoke to seemed to be very full of himself and was not very customer service minded. After the initial engagement I turned and left the shop without even getting service .

I only get faded by Rey. I've followed him as he's found his way around Houston shops from Bad Boy'z barbers to Magic's now with a few in between. I'm not the only one that has either...Rey has a loyal clientelle that will go out of their way to get cleaned up by him. He'll take care of you whether you need a fade or beard trim all with a straight razor. The "Father of Fades" could give your kid a fresh cut too with a clean line up. You'll need to make an appointment, if you try to hit him up day of more than likely you won't be able to...
