Our young friend recommended this as her favorite thing to do in all of Hawaii Nei. This was her third visit because she likes to bring all her favorite visitors on this tour. After taking it myself now, I can see why!
We met Captain Greg Baptiste and copilot Caleb at Kiki’aola Small Boat Harbor at 8:45 and ended about 2:45. We were supposed to end at 2:30 but got delayed by kayakers who caused boat traffic. A 6th generation Kaua’i kama’aina, Captain Greg was extremely experienced, confident, and relaxed so we felt very safe with him at the helm, even when the boat was slapping the waters and we felt like we were on a mechanical bull ride. Luckily I didn’t get seasick, so it felt a like a real life Disney ride to me. However, I don’t recommend this for those who get queasy. His first mate, Caleb, took turns with him at the wheel and dove in to achor us. Throughout the tour Greg educated us with fascinating facts and tales about the geography, history, and lore of the breathtaking beautiful Na Pali Coast. One of the lessons from the legend of Na Keiki a ono iwi that resonated with me was 1.Listen to your elders Do not Steal You are responsible for your children's actions. (Teachers, gotta love this one!!)
Highlights were the open ceiling cave and iconic “Cathedral “ cliffs. We stopped for about an hour or so of beautiful clear snorkeling where we got to see turtles in addition to some beautiful and large fish. They use excellent Mantis brand snorkeling gear which I really liked and will fit you for fins.
After that we were very ready for lunch! They normally cater sandwiches but something happened so we assembled our own with fixings from Costco which tasted extra good at sea!
The only suggestion I would have for this business is to do a better job of briefing folks about safety and how to treat the reef. Some kids in our group were sitting and stepping on the coral.
Mahalo nui Capt. Greg and Crew for an incredible day trip!! Will definitely recommend this to...
Read moreDestiny is calling... Captain Gregg is Driving destiny because our thoughts create our reality. Gregg Baptiste, a local of Kauai, named his boat Keilani. "Keilani is one of those rare names whose definition is as beautiful as its sound. In Hawaiian, it means “heaven” and “sky,” as well as “glorious chief” or “royal one.” The king. Driven by Destiny, this Napali navigators tour will provide nourishment to your mind, body, and Spirit. But do not take my word for it, arrive, receive, and experience the Aloha Spirit of the Napali coast, through the eyes of this Captain. The magical world of the ocean brings all your senses to life, you will feel the Rainbows kiss you and the dolphins singing to you, feeling like the Queen you have always known inside...finally with your King. After your delightful experience with Gregg, head to Hanapepe around 5pm until 9pm to Walk the Art of your own canvas. Eat the delicious food, shop the local's hearts, and take home the Good Vibes! Home being your heart. If a Hawaiian experience could be your muse, this adventurous ride would be it! You will never forget this spectacular place. If you are like me, you will hear the Hawaiian call, to always return to Aloha. "Named Keilani, baby will grow up not only with a deep connection to the natural world, but with a legacy of leadership and...
Read moreOh WOW!!!!! First of all, this is the BEST attraction on the island! This tour is truly amazing!! We’ve been on the helicopter tour, and this one is way better!! Gregg is the best captain and tour guide ever!! His knowledge of the island cannot be matched! He was born and raised on this island and he’s been doing these trips for 38 years and he knows things you’ve never heard of! I was blown away with his knowledge of Kauai. He is also very great to communicate with. And for the best part, he took my husband and his friend who are both paralyzed (in manual wheelchairs) on his boat! I couldn’t find any other captains or companies who would do it, so we are so grateful that they got to have this experience as well!! A few of us carried their chairs on board, and then they were strapped in nice and secure! We saw whales, spinner dolphins, turtles, the coolest coastline on the planet, along with really neat caves. It was an experience will never forget and I’m so grateful to Greg and Caeleb with Nepali Navigators for making this boat tour happen for our family! We...
