Beautiful little memorial park honoring one of the most talented artists "beneath these western skies." Rodeo legend, and singer Chris Ledoux. I have been a fan since I was a kid, so it was a must stop for me when I saw the sign saying Chris Ledoux Park. It is a small, well-kept park with a few benches and a larger than life statue of Chris riding a bronc atop a guitar surrounded by offerings of Copenhagen left by visitors honoring one of his fan favorites. Kacee is such a small, friendly town that it to me was worth the visit. There is a small gift shop selling Leddoux (you can buy Ned Ledoux merch as well) shirts and hats across the street, and a small bar/restaurant two doors down that looked like a good time. I'll make it a point to go traipsin through that lil town and go see this park for myself and take my own pictures of the monument.    Read moreAs a longtime Chris LaDoux fan, it was wonderful to swing through Kaycee, WY and see the lovely park created in his honor. The statue is a highlight and it was touching to see cans of Copenhagen left behind by admirers. Chris LaDoux's boots were used to leave footprints in the pavement as you enter the park. The historical marker mentions highlights of his life. The landscaping is well done. Truly a nice memorial space of a great cowboy...
