Beautiful little memorial park honoring one of the most talented artists "beneath these western skies." Rodeo legend, and singer Chris Ledoux. I have been a fan since I was a kid, so it was a must stop for me when I saw the sign saying Chris Ledoux Park. It is a small, well-kept park with a few benches and a larger than life statue of Chris riding a bronc atop a guitar surrounded by offerings of Copenhagen left by visitors honoring one of his fan favorites. Kacee is such a small, friendly town that it to me was worth the visit. There is a small gift shop selling Leddoux (you can buy Ned Ledoux merch as well) shirts and hats across the street, and a small bar/restaurant two doors down that looked like a good time. If I only had the time to grab a Coors. For me, it was a once in a lifetime experience that I would do again given the...

That park built in Kaycee, Wyoming to honor Chris LeDoux looks real purdy in the pictures. I'll make it a point to go traipsin through that lil town and go see this park for myself and take my own pictures of the monument. I consider the area 'hallowed ground' for those who live and love 'The Cowboy Way'. Certainly, in no uncertain terms, Chris was our example and showed us how it's done. I do believe the Lord took a real good liken to him...I loved him,...

As a longtime Chris LaDoux fan, it was wonderful to swing through Kaycee, WY and see the lovely park created in his honor. The statue is a highlight and it was touching to see cans of Copenhagen left behind by admirers. Chris LaDoux's boots were used to leave footprints in the pavement as you enter the park. The historical marker mentions highlights of his life. The landscaping is well done. Truly a nice memorial space of a great cowboy...

Real nice little park .. a wonderful tribute to World Champion Bareback Rider Chris LeDoux. 1948-2005. Also a country music star with 6 million records sold. Town of Kaycee WY known for producing about a dozen or so professional rodeo stars. And the town has a population of just over 250!
