Let me start with this - I will never trust their radiology team - The radiologist was supposed to do a left breast biopsy in a very specific spot. He did not so much as read the report before walking in the room. A specialist had requested this spot at the very least be aspirated as a precaution-. The radiologist was quite put off when he realized I did want this done as after two visits prior with a very sound team in Lexington, ne , a diagnostic ultra sound and mammo was recommended to aspirate or biopsy the 1 o clock spot on my left breast. He was not going to do either and then ended up tending to a completely different spot (ten o clock spot) - The bedside manner was poor as he moved swiftly. I was made to feel dumb and insignificant. You can imagine my anger when It said on the report that he had checked the 1 o clock spot as the specialist had requested because I knew that was not the case. I work two jobs. I do not have a lot of money. I Went and received a 2nd opinion. What I found was the radiologist at kearney regional incorrectly & it would seem fraudulently documented that he aspirated the 1 o clock spot on my left breast when he did not - when I went in for my 2nd opinion at a different facility it was made clear that the 1 o clock spot was still very much there, the same spot - same measurments...etc and ironically the ten o clock.spot was gone . So to put this in simple terms- kearney regional radiologist did NOT check the 1 o clock spot as they reported they did. That is significant because that is what the specialist had requested be checked. NOW KEARNEY REGIONAL REFUSES to zero out my 500 dollar bill with them, EVEN AFTER I have submitted the report from my 2nd opinion from the other facility! Now - because of their negligence I have two 500.00 bills - and no recourse to fight them , but to publicise this experience as they won't make it right! This is unacceptable and if I could find a lawyer that would fight it for me at low cost I would, just to prove a point. IF anyone has experienced similar issues I would encourage you to come forward! I have given the hospital the opportunity to do the right thing and they have made it clear that they don't care. They have also made it clear their radiology team cannot be trusted. P.s. I have more grace than to say the radiologist name , but I can tell you at kearney regional, in Kearney NE there are only 2 to 3 to choose from. IF you need a name you can contact me privately- SARA HURT, Nebraska - If you know a good lawyer, I could...
Read moreAlthough I've had excellent experiences with the healthcare providers at Bryan Health, both within the hospital and Platte Valley Medical Group, I must emphasize the terrible service provided by their billing department. Their incompetence is so pervasive that I can only justify awarding a single star.
In particular, I feel compelled to spotlight the appalling behavior of "Lori" in the billing department. Engaging with them is akin to being struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk – an experience I imagine would be more pleasant if it didn't involve needing more medical bills from Bryan Health. Lori's demeanor is consistently abrasive, their communication skills are lacking, and their willingness to provide accurate information is virtually nonexistent.
Attempts to seek clarification are met with interruptions, rudeness, and an inclination to change the subject whenever questioned. Should you dare to try and get clarification on any information or ask Lori to not interrupt you to try and make sure you are following, they resort to unprofessional behavior with flippant comments like, "well, I can transfer you to a supervisor if you think they can help you better." I followed up that comment with "yes, please. I think that would be for the best." However, this gesture proves to be nothing more than a facade, as the subsequent transfer leads only to an unresponsive answering machine.
In conclusion, while Bryan Health may excel in providing healthcare, their billing department, exemplified by the reprehensible conduct of individuals like Lori, tarnishes their reputation and undermines the overall...
Read moreWorst hospital I have ever been to!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was brought in with vomiting, weakness, diarrhea, inability to walk, and in excruciating abdominal pain. Right when I got back in the ER, I was the only person there, and I NEVER GOT MY TEMPERATURE TAKEN!! Especially during COVID season, like really??? Well they never touched my stomach and gave me no pain medication for my pain, they gave me one bag of fluids and one anti nausea med. They took one blood test and saw I had some infection, they sent me home with only bed rest. I was still in excruciating pain so I decided to go to a different hospital THE SAME DAY and the first thing they did was take my temperature and feel my actual stomach (Where they immediately found something wrong). They took me in for a CAT scan and found that my liver was over three times its size. I was given two prescriptions to help me during this time as well as referring me to a specialist before I left. Where they also did the same blood test and got a different result from Kearney Regional, this blood test didn't even show I had an infection of any kind. They literally just made up some diagnoses to get me out of there. Kearney Regional sent me home with bedrest. If I had one drink or any regular dose of medication I take every day I could have died. They almost killed me because of their negligence. NEVER GO TO THIS...
