Foster's Alaska Cabins — Local services in Kenai

I have stayed at Foster's Alaska 11 times. It is a truly awesome and unique experience. Jason has lived in Alaska his entire life and has connections EVERYWHERE so every adventure is notches above the others. For example, his fishing guides are the best around, knowing the waters of the Kenai, Kasilof, and cook inlet like no other! The property is amazing, large enough to accommodate large groups and yet intimate enough that you leave having made life long friends. The cabins are so clean and well appointed you can truly sit back and enjoy.

If you are traveling to Alaska and looking for a once (or eleven) in a lifetime adventure, have Jason take care of everything for you with an all-inclusive package. You’ll enjoy the best of what Alaska has to offer and won’t need to plan anything meaning you can sit back and simply enjoy! My favorites have been the fly-out for Silver fishing, never been on a float plane before! The halibut charter, simply amazing fishing! The music and evening campfire gatherings are incredible not to mention the food. They even had a piano bar during cocktail hour and dinner some evenings, with guitarists and local singers in the evenings! Can’t get that at any other...

My travel agent, Karen Dillard, booked a cabin for myself, my brother and my sister in law to stay in at Foster's Cabins in Kenai, Alaska. Along with the cabin rental, Karen booked a guided salmon fishing day trip for my brother and a rental car for the week. The cabin was awesome! Very comfortable and spacious for the three of us. Jason fixed an amazing dinner for not only us, but for the rest of his guests. On the first night we had Halibut. It was delicious! On the second night we had prime rib and he was gracious enough to fix the king salmon that I had caught! Delicious!

Our fishing guide Alex was a great guide. He is one strong dude to be able to paddle us out and do everything that he had to do for us to fish for 6 hours. He knew where to take us so we could catch a few kings!

The rental car that I booked through Jason was a Cadillac SUV. Such a nice vehicle and spacious enough for three adults and all our luggage.

I started planning my trip 6 months in advance and Jason was so accommodating to every question. Then we arrived with ease of getting around in his rental car, we also had a place to stay and kayaks for our duration there. Not to mention amazing food at their camp out every night. If you want great advice, someone to work with your budget and a small family run business to literally cater to all your needs/rentals then these guys are it! Jason and Cindi are the best thing/couple/guides ever! This entire Alaska experience was designed for those who love meeting new people, who know nothing about Alaska, and truly enjoy the wild (maybe not completely) there’s nice bathrooms:) I highly HIGHLY recommend booking these guys, they are the kindest souls and truly made me and my husbands entire experience incredible. They bend over backwards for their guests and Jason cooks amazing meals. Cindi is just the sweetest woman and her dog is the most adorable guide dog:) it feels like home, we are definitely going back:) With good conversations, a beautiful view, amazing food...we are blessed to have met this humans and have them as...
