My father took his Rolex there, asking for it to be shipped to the Rolex repair facility in Texas for service. Mr. Wise said he would only charge $50 to send it, and that would be the only charge from him outside of what Rolex charged (my father had been a repeat jewelry customer). Wise Jewelers returned it after Rolex supposedly serviced it, and it had moisture in it after a few days. He took it back to Wise. After a few weeks, Wise Jewelers returned the watch in a paper bag, without Rolex documentation, charging approximately $1600 for the service which is what Rolex normally charges. This was also odd since we have another Rolex in the family which had been serviced by Rolex and was returned with complete documentation in a nice box. When asked for the paperwork, the response was it would be sent but never was. We called Rolex which had no record of the service. When I visited Wise Jewelers to inquire about this, since we did not get the promised documentation, I was provided a copy of a receipt showing the watch was not sent to Rolex but to another service center in Texas, with a bill of approximately $1100.
