Not impressed and won't be returning.
Summary: Signed my daughter up for a kid's art class and they've been very disorganized. Out of an hour class, the kids are only doing art for 15-20 minutes. Not worth the drive. One employee was unnecessarily rude. Won't be finishing out the session.
Detailed review: I was excited to find this place when I drove by about a month back. I immediately signed my daughter up for a 6-week art class.
We've done two classes- the first was chaotic, teacher was late, nothing was set up for the kids (bins were supposed to be labeled for the new class, still had the old names on them, we were told "the office" didn't prep the bins for class). Not a big deal, I just figured it was first day chaos and it wasn't the teacher's fault that she got stuck in traffic. Kid's used oil pastels and painted for about 20 minutes, all fine and I figured it would go smoother the second week.
Second class- We arrived about ten minutes early, checked the board to make sure we were still in the blue classroom and headed there. A lady asked "can I help you?" from down the hallway. I told her no, we were just headed to class. She proceeded to be very rude and tell me I was in the wrong classroom, that she was supposed to set up a birthday party in the blue room and that I was supposed to be in the green room. I told her that the sign in the entry said our class was in the blue room, just like last week. She then proceeded to bicker with the art teacher about who was supposed to be using that room. Incredibly rude. The teacher stood her ground and said that she's always in the blue room teaching on Saturdays, and if she was supposed to be in another room, no one had told her about it. Anyway, we stayed in the blue room for art class while this other lady huffed in and out taking paint with her. The bins were set up, so they got that together for week 2. The kids ended up painting for about 15 minutes overall before cleanup time.
In both classes the kids only did about 15 to 20 minutes for actual art before it was time to clean up. The chaos, setup, and explanation takes about 30 minutes, do art for 15 minutes, clean up for 15 minutes. I'm not going to continue driving to this place for chaos and miscommunication, 15 minutes of art, and rude staff. Over...

My wife is part of a group of local artists that meet regularly as a critique group. They are all productive and high quality and do shows throughout the region. We were there last week for one of their shows and a bought an amazing piece from one of the artists, beautifully framed, beautiful original art, for $300. You could not get a print for that price. Discover a local artist and consider it a low cost investment that may become a statement piece...
