Captain Ben was one of the most attentive and knowledgeable captains I've fished with. He took me and my parents out for a half day inshore trip in the marsh and around the jetties and we caught way more than I expected for August. My dad just retired and it was his first charter trip. He had a blast and caught more fish than the rest of us. Whitings, speckled trout, mangrove snappers, black drum, etc. Also worth mentioning, Captain Allen's boat is very nice and roomy and can easily accommodate three to four people unlike some of the other charters in the area. Captain Ben and his Charter today were Fabulous! The weather tried to be sketchy. Windy. He was able to find fish in every location he took us. We caught multiple species, including a huge trout and a fantastic flounder! The weather came in hard near the end of our time out and he docked the boat in very much less than ideal circumstances. Even people on the dock complimented his abilities! Absolutely professional in every manner and we look forward to fishing with him again...
