Local dive bar/hangout. Conveniently located a short hop from the Navy Base and Crooked River State Park. We were welcomed warmly even though we were strangers. No food is served although they do occasionally have cookouts and pot lucks. Staff was very nice as were the people we were seated next to at the bar. Limited beer selection but they did have Guinness. I had a decent pinot grigio which was carefully measured out for a 5 oz pour. (Really, in this kind of place??? Buy some cheaper wine for the bar and pour generously.) One lady was drinking 19 Crimes Red, of which there were several bottles on the back bar. I imagine if you are a regular they will get what you want. If you want real glass bring your own. This is strictly a plastic cup joint. Prices are decent. Everyone here is welcoming and fun, and the owner, Alan, is fantastic. They have great entertainment options including electronic dart boards, bowling, Golden Tee golf, and a Jurassic Park pinball machine. All of the bartenders provide excellent service every time.
They also frequently host public events like cookouts, retirement parties, and other celebrations, making it a great place to gather with friends and the community....
Read moreAfter a long 14 hour drive. I stay at the big wheel next door for a night due to having a job in town. I see a bunch of people at the bar inside. And cars in the parking lot(1130). I go up to the door and its locked for whatever reason. So I go knock on the window and the bartend just looks at me like I'm stupid for being there and says they're closed... might want to update the hours then... crazy turning away new customers like that....
