After getting a complete runaround I asked if I had any other options and was told verbatim "I don't know what to say to make you understand you have to pay your bills on time" followed by a blank stare literally down here lifted nose at me I very frustrated held my tongue and walked away. 10 minutes in to my drive to work decided to call another branch (nahunta) and ask the same questions and for options. Within 10 minutes I completely understood why the billing was the way it was and how I had gotten behind. But even better she (the lady in nahunta) had given me options that not only got the bill completely up to date but had me a credit if $158 without any more money out of pocket! (Let it be known I was never once blameful cursing condescending or disrespectful to her...

You are a member, go to meetings, vote, and make you voice heard! Find you Area Rep and call him day and night, that’s his job. Overall OREMC is a pretty good COOP. It will never have the resources of FPL or GPL but that’s how it is. It will cost more $$ and take longer to fix a problem, but they are not a big Corporation and they do care because they are members also. It’s a...
