I was approached by Linda Boyette in the Blue Valley showroom. I told her my vision for the kitchen. I had some unique requirements, mainly that I wanted some functionality that was more European in style. Linda spent time educating me to rethink the cabinets … to think of them as individual components or sections rather that static upper and lower cabinets. She taught me that I could truly have anything I wanted if I just thought of the kitchen as a jigsaw puzzle….essentially everything could be modified.

I returned with my contractor. She provided “Mike” with the same education except that she guided him on installation tips and tricks to ensure that he could meet my expectations. When we left, Mike turned to me and said ….” it has been years since I have had a meeting like that.”

Following Linda’s approach to the kitchen design, it was readily apparent, that I could use the Blue Valley cabinets throughout the house. We have designed a magnificent master closet, window seats and a wine bar. If Blue Valley would give her a few other door styles…I could keep going.

Linda listened to what I wanted, guided me in a different direction when I was going the wrong way and brokered a solution when my contractor and I weren’t on the same page. Whatever you pay her it isn’t enough!

I would love to give 5 star in the future to BVC. We ran into this company by chance..we were looking for a local supplier of cabinets. The company has great quality products. I understand the company is new to the Triangle. Since they don't work with homeowners directly, my constructive criticism will be to do a better job to build a network of reputable and honest contractors that they recommend to homeowners who show up at their factory's door without a contractor. My experience with the contractor they recommended has been herrondous ro say they least...I have never felt so angry in my life dealing with a contractor before but the level of lying and gaslighting of the recommended contractor was on another level. I experienced multiple meltdowns from the whole process. For example we have cabinets that has scratches, and few dings I can see but no fault of manufacturers because they were sitting in our house for weeks before they got installed while other work was still going. This is just a tip of then iceberg I won't go to many details. I hope the company continue to grow the network of contractor you all build is also better quality as...
