Kodiak Island Smoke house has a storefront that offers top quality smoked fish, as well as fish and game processing. They also have a gift shop with a great selection of different items, including some of which are made here in Alaska. I have not had personal experience with the fish and game processing, but I have heard nothing but positive comments in the community.

I have been frequenting K.I.S. more and more because of the smoked sockeye and keta salmon, and I just found out I like the Smoked Black Cod very much as well. The Smoked Halibut Dilly Dip is also a great product, it's truly delicious and unique.

Kodiak Island Smokehouse also has different types and flavors of seafood sausages, patties, dips, etc. Different types of smoked and frozen Halibut, Cod, and King, Sockeye, Coho, and Keta Salmon, and Shellfish are also available.

Wow—what an awesome experience! We used Kodiak Island Smokehouse to ship our catch from an Alaskan fishing trip, and I can’t say enough good things.

From the moment we walked in, the person at the counter was sharp—detailed, friendly, and double-checked every part of our info to make sure the fish would get where it was going. Super professional!

We grabbed some snacks while we were there and fish dip for later - Wow excellent!!!. They divided one of our boxes of fish and smoked it for us...So good.

But here’s what really stood out: the packaging job. Compared to what our lodge did, Kodiak Island Smokehouse knocked it out of the park. Rock-solid packing—everything stayed frozen and tight. Honestly, if you're planning to ship your fish home, have them repack it first.

I ordered crab legs from Kodiak Island Smokehouse in late July to be shipped to our fish camp in Ugak Bay. This required special coordination with Island Air in Kodiak to get the order out on a float plane, and their team handled that part superbly—the product arrived right on schedule.

When the order came, it wasn’t exactly what I had ordered, but the quality was excellent and the crab was absolutely delicious. I reached out to let them know, and the owner personally followed up. He apologized, explained the mix-up, and issued a full refund without hesitation.
