Tejas Grocery Store — Local services in Kountze

This is my favorite store, I come here everyday. It’s ran amazingly by the owner. He is very sweet, welcoming, and polite. Most of the workers are friendly and awesome too. The young man who works there at nights is very helpful and friendly. They have DUBAI CHOCOLATE which I recommend so much. They have a wide selection of drinks, snacks, ready-to-eat food, vapes, kratom products, and delta 8 products and accessories. They also have labubus, stanley’s, air fresheners, etc. It’s like a food place, gas station, smoke shop, grocery store, and retail store combined....

I used one card to pay for gas and one card to pay for the drink, but put the wrong card in at first. Was told I only had $1.27 on the card. I apologized and used the second card to pay for the $2.80 drink. The cashier never handed me the receipt or asked if I wanted it. She crumpled it up and threw it away. Didn't think anything about it until I got home and realized she charged both cards for the same drink! Called to inform them of the problem but no one answered the phone. I won't trust such...

The reason it gets three stars is it's very expensive and no prices marked on anything. When you walk up to the counter with the item and ask for a price check, you nearly have a heart attack . Or! about fall to the floor when they ask for $9 for a gallon of milk! It could be higher now! only did that once!! Haven't bought it in a while not sure what it cost now sure it ain't got no cheaper though. Y'all might have to follow up...
