I don’t like posting negative reviews, but I want to warn others about the unprofessional and disorganized experience I had with this business.
My husband dropped off his company-issued hazmat suit, valued at $150, to have it altered. I later went in to pick it up and paid $65 for the alterations. When I showed my receipt, the item was handed over, and I went home. However, when my husband — who works out of town — looked at the suit, we realized it wasn’t his.
I immediately returned to the shop to explain the mistake. The worker claimed there was nothing she could do because the suit wasn’t at the location, and she only offered a $150 refund — even though our total loss was $215 (the value of the suit plus the alteration fee).
After that, she called multiple times with conflicting instructions: first to come Monday at 3, then Tuesday at 11, then again Tuesday at 3 to receive the refund. Later, she said my husband had to come in personally, even though I was the one who paid, picked up the item, and had the receipt.
Things escalated when the owner accused me of lying and claimed my husband was on video picking up the suit — which is completely false. I ultimately had to involve the police to recover the cost of the lost item.

Read moreI ordered a dress online (not from her) and it took forever to come in. The alteration I needed would be similar to adjusting straps- basically shortening them. My torso wasn’t long enough for the bust area. I had limited time to get it altered before a wedding. Granted, she did agree to do that after not really wanting to (I was prepared to go somewhere else if that turn around was too quick but she took the job, begrudgingly lol). Went to pick up, it is cash only so be mindful of that if you decide to alter here. I paid and didn’t even think to try it on (my fault, I was hurrying and she’s spoken so highly of that I thought ehh it’ll be great). I try it on out of town, not only does it still not fit in the bust area, the slit in the dress is well, basically exposing me…. $100 dress $65 alteration and can’t wear it… I would think a skilled tailor would think that if one part is shortened maybe check out the rest of it? Idk. In her defense she had like a day really and that’s on me but it’s really disappointing to have spent all that money and not be able to wear that dress. AND remember- it’s cash. Get a receipt- I did not so I’m not even going to bother going to...
Read moreAVOID THIS SHOP. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES THEN ACCUSE YOU OF LYING ABOUT IT Don't take your clothes there. Language barrier strikes again. Asked for a simple cuff reduction and they ruined a $150 frc hoodie. The sleeves are super short and now it just looks stupid. Totally RUINED. Do yourself a favor and go to national tailor in Pasadena. They understand and speak English, and do great work. Also no language issues.
I tried these people because they were close. Big mistake.
Edit 8-20-2025 In response to the false claims made by the owner. First of all, nice try trying to blame this crap work on another shop and then accuse me of lying about it instead of asking me to bring on the receipt with the sweater and trying to rectify your horrid alteration work. It shows a lot about your lack of integrity, its almost comedic. To answer your question and address the rest of your drivel. I picked up the sweater and didn’t use it as it was an extra but that doesn’t make it ok. Then you accuse me of lying about it. Its you that needs to reflect on your actions.
