My husband and I went for the 1st time for the Jack and Lights display, for the last walk of the night and season 8pm. The display was clever and a fun walk through very well put together. I Specially loved the way many of the displays had their own music to match their theme. It was about a 1mile walk and we enjoyed it. I can't wait to return, had I realized how big the farm was and how many activities were available I would have loved to spend the day there. We had the opportunity to meet the owner while standing by one of the awesome fire pits on the property (which is also where we got pictures of the awesome Moon last night) It was great talking to him and listening to his great ideas for future events. He was down to earth and we enjoyed learning more about the farm. I honestly can't wait to visit with the rest of the family. We saw several activities for the kids, the lovely store and plenty of seating areas to enjoy some well spent time. I Would have loved to see more of the property in day light and spend more time doing the rest of the activities. Once we get the opportunity we will return and give a more informed review.
The Light covered Tree...
Read moreJacks & Lights at Argos Farm does not disappoint! We missed the sale and purchased regular tickets. But, even at regular price, this event is worth it. We were super impressed by the design, lighting and music, and the beautiful carved pumpkin art. This is spooky not scary so it’s perfect for all ages. The Halloween tree is just magical with the ambient music as the perfect touch. And, the length/timing of the walk itself felt perfect. We indulged with a late dinner and dessert- food/snacks were all good! Pie was delicious. I’d recommend bringing flashlights for the corn maze, boots/old sneakers, and purchase VIP if you want to skip the line. My one criticism is the bathrooms. There are portable toilets at the entrance to the farm and bathrooms in the Market. Both are a “good” walk once you’re over at Jacks & Lights. For someone with littles (who always never have to go until they really have to go) or anyone with a disability, I feel like there should be more portable toilets closer to the actual trail. Other than that, we enjoyed a perfect evening at the farm. And, we’re hoping to go a few more times before the season is...
Read morewent to Argos Farm today 9/21 in Forked River for the first time. we are an hour away. we bought the VIP flash sale tickets on September 8th for only $20 a ticket for their Jack & Lights. highly recommend if you missed the flash sale this year to do it next year. because the VIP flash sale ticket you’re able to use it any day you want and you don’t have to pick a specific time. you’re saving so much money & we got to skip the line bc we were VIP. definitely a steal in my opinion. we were a family of 14. such a fun night to do with the family. Jack & Lights opens when it’s dark, so they said they started it at 7:15 pm now a September night. things like this get more crowded when it gets closer to Halloween so I would suggest going now.
tips - wear old comfortable sneakers. bring flash lights for trail for kids or bring your own light up...
