Been a permanent resident for 5 months at Magnolia RV honestly it's nothing wrong with the park it self it's quiet has a nice pool nice fishing ponds and never had a problem with people there. But from the first time I walked into the office ( after already moving my girl had dealt with Melody not Joy) I was receiving dirty looks when I would go up to the office so I stop going. Then what happened to me on August 20 2024 going to the office to place my concerns of a power outage for the 3 time in less the 2 weeks in a row in a 110° weather and the office manager Joy was very hateful rude with a nasty tone. She right away gives attitude saying the power outage is not their fault and it was nothing she can do about it All I wanted was for her to show some empathy for the people in the right side of the RV park when for the 3 time the left side never lost power at all. so I told her if we didn't matter to her as human beings All kinds of families with kids and pets. I told her you lady need to be more kind to people, she responded how do you know I'm not, I replied your demeanor says it all. So sure enough when I left the office took a walk around the side of the rv park and saw all kinds of people standing outside under the trees I told few of them go to the office is empty with full a/c there, they said no we rather seat here Joy is rude, if it was Miss Melody we'll go sit there she's very nice and polite. So the next morning get up to go to work and sure enough this lady Joy come banging on my door like if she was the police to handle My Girlfriend the Eviction letter she refused to renew my monthly lease for what I'm still clueless. So when my girl texted the owner he forwarded the text to Joy and she responded to my girl this is not up for discussion. When she knew My Girl has 2 small kids(she has to switch their school) and 2 dogs and now you people see why I was placing my concerns to the Manager Joy and for her to treat us like inmates, 0 people skills! I know we are not the only ones who have moved due to her. When my girl was looking at a new place a few of the parks have had people move from there due to her as well so her reputation...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Magnolia RV Park in Waco, Texas, and it was truly a great experience.
The first thing that caught my attention was the well-maintained pool. Another highlight RV Park is the charming fishing pond. It's a great spot to enjoy some peaceful moments by the water, casting a line and trying your luck at catching fish.
Beyond the park's amenities, Waco itself offers alot of fun activities for visitors to enjoy. From exploring the iconic Magnolia Market at the Silos, where you can shop for unique home dƩcor and enjoy delicious treats at the bakery, to taking a leisurely stroll through Cameron Park and marveling at the scenic views of the Brazos River, there's no shortage of things to do in this vibrant city.
For history buffs, a visit to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum is a must, offering fascinating insights into the legendary law enforcement agency. Additionally, Waco is home to the Dr. Pepper Museum, where you can learn about the history of this beloved soda brand and even sample some tasty beverages.
Overall, my stay at Magnolia RV Park in Waco, Texas, was nothing short of fantastic. With its tranquil surroundings, inviting amenities like the pool and fishing pond, and proximity to all the attractions that Waco has to offer, it's the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway with plenty of fun-filled adventures. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the charm of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I 1st moved over here Sept 1st 2021, it was Shady Rest RV Park. Then 14 months later I find out the owner sold the property. It only gets worse from there! I'm not sure if these new owners were aware that the park was a low income RV community before or after they bought it. So they come in with rather expensive plans to basically flip the entire property into a fancy park with an in-ground pool among other pricey improvements. Well this meant they had to hike the rent from $375!/mo (+ electric) to $500/mo (+electric) in order to cover their fancy changes along with eliminating the included Spectrum cable and wifi in the rent! Even tho the owner worked with me for my last 3 months of the year on the rental amount which was extremely appreciated, I was finally chased off along with several residents after I was told by the new owner that wasn't their intent! Ha! OK! If they wanted to invest in an RV park, they should've either tried to buy the one across the street from Crazy Mark or built one up from scratch on empty land instead!! So once Jan 1st arrived, I either had to pay the new rate or move so I jumped ship and relocated to a much better affordable place with electric included! When will people grow...
