Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Lacy Lakeview

I ordered a blizzard and a sundae. Every time I go to the drive thru they ALWAYS tell you to pull around and wait no matter how small the order is. So I wait ten minutes and wondering what the hold up is, I see other people that arrived before me leaving with more food than I even ordered. As I'm waiting an employee walks out and has a chicken finger basket and points at it looking at me. Thinking he's asking if its mine I shake my head no and he gives me a thumbs up and delivers it to the next car beside me. Another ten minutes roll by and I"m getting tired of waiting, its been 20 minutes for something that should be made within 5 if even that. I pull around into the drive thru again to ask whats up and the employee gives me sass going "Why did you tell me you were good then?" and I'm like what? I never heard those words come out of his mouth, he was standing five feet away from my car, the window was closed and I was listening to music while waiting. If he wanted to tell me something he should have come closer. So I tell him the situation and he tells me he's sorry he had a "rush" and got busy like that's a total lie. Then had the GALL to make me pull around again and wait even longer when no one was even there anymore! This place has become poorly managed for a long time, I used to love coming here from when I was a kid and now its become full of incompetant employees that don't know what there doing, there lazy, and no one is managing them right. There should be a District Manager getting in there and correcting these mistakes and increasing productivity instead of pissing off your customers everytime they visit. A fast food restaurant should be FAST, especially at the drive-thru, not taking 10-15 minutes to make one or two...

A couple weeks ago the kids did a coloring contest when we went to this location to try and win a 8 inch ice cream cake. A week or so later they called saying that all the kids won a free blizzard and then we hung up with each other. Then I got a second call saying that my niece who I took there won first place and won the ice cream cake. We went today with excited kids to claim their rewards and no one knew anything about it. At first we were told it wasn’t a blizzard it was a cone and no one won the 8inch cake. Finally after a couple minutes we were allowed to order our 4 free small blizzards and then paid for two more. After waiting about 20 minutes we were told it actually was cones so they were going to switch them to cones and then let us pick the two blizzards that’s we paid for. We requested a refund and said we would go somewhere else. They went to check again and after 5 minutes I went up there and was told the bosses boss confirmed the free blizzards were real. So we finally got all the blizzards after about 40 minutes but we never heard anything about the 8inch cake. So now my niece is devastated because we had told her based on the information from the call that she had won. I don’t blame the person at the counter for any of this. I have eaten at this Dairy Queen before, ninety-nine out of a hundred times it was great, one time it was not so great. The manager fixed it though. And the replacement order was absolutely delicious. This time I didn't eat there it was very hot and I had lost my way, and I was meeting somebody there. By the time they got there and gave me the directions it was about 30 minutes. I go out to my car, and it won't start. I go back inside ask everybody in the Dairy Queen if they have jumper cables, and not one person did. I am extremely handicapped and was burning up at this point. The employees were very concerned, and gave me a cup for ice water. I was sitting there basically and tears and pain I'm still just burning up hot, when one of the customers what is leaving she said she didn't live far from there and she would come back with her truck and jump me off and she did! I wished I hadn't been so distressed I could have gotten her name but if she ever reads this God bless you ten fold! It ended up being a great...
