Oh I'm not writing about the building itself but about the dealers in there. The level that some of these dealers will stoop to to get their wares to sell is deplorable and shameless. Had one of these dealers actually attend an estate sale and grabbed someone's stash that had been placed up front that was stored in a bag with the estate company. This bag was set aside for safe keeping to be purchased by him when he was done shopping at the sale. The lady just came in and grabbed that bag pretending it was hers and bought the contents After all the hard work of looking through the estate sale for finds, she goes and purchases it acting like it was hers. Poor guy didn't know what hit him til he asked where his bag was and saw her sneaking out the door like a snake. People just watch yourself from now on cause these dealers...
Read moreI visited Pinhook Flea Market during the summer months and I can tell you to avoid a visit during the summer months in southern Louisiana. No air conditioning!! Lots to see but when you have sweat dripping off of you, you will not want to stay long. They do have fans placed throughout the building but it still does not make for an enjoyable visit. On the upside they did have a variety of antiques. Will have to check it out on a mild winter day sometimes again...
