Every time I come for a haircut I it's a good experience. I used to be very selective about who I'd go to for a haircut because although I have every woman's dream hair, it's apparently very challenging to cut and I've had my hair butchered countless times. I'm older now and have gotten past most self-image hangups. So, I usually just come in for basic a haircut. Besides, how are students going to learn if nobody's willing to be their guinea pigs 😅

All of the young ladies who have cut my hair have been very good students. April was the most recent student who cut my hair. She did a very good job. I appreciate how teachable she is as she took the necessary time to let her instructors walk her through each step. I got a shorter haircut this time with a little more style to it, which is more challenging to do with my very thick hair. As time went on, I recognized that April was getting concerned about how much time it was taking. However, she remained calm and was careful not rush through the necessary steps of instruction. The outcome was a great haircut. Not everyone has the time or patience for this. Fortunately, God has given me both for this. It has to be better learning how cut & style a real person's hair for a couple hours than endless hours on those creepy manikin heads 😬.

I promised April that before she's finished with her program there I'm gonna let her cut my hair again and maybe even learn or practice a pixie cut on my hair...

My stylist was incredibly thorough. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, looked at pictures with me, and asked about my lifestyle and hair history. Her instructor was present for the consultation. The service itself was meticulous and unrushed. I truly appreciated the patience and focus my student showed throughout the process.   The instructor checked in at every key stage, providing guidance and praise, which was great to see.
