Dollar General — Local services in Lake City

My husband and I stopped to pickup something and as soon as we walked in it was chaos from the construction. I Went to the women’s restroom and in there was an adjacent open door that I had my husband guard while I was using the toilet. BUT a male worker burst into the women restroom without even knocking due to the lock not even working. Thank GOD my husband was in there with me because I was absolutely mortified. Not only that but none of the employees were wearing masks even though we see in a pandemic. I am absolutely embarrassed and mortified by my experience here. This store has employees that are never inside the store .always outside smoking. Never know where anything is located .never post their weekly sale tags on shelves. Cashiers act like your bothering them when your checking out and I've seen them try to keep receipts that have the 5.00 off your next purchase coupon, and the Gatorade points. It's the closest location near me and it's really irritating to go in and have to stand there waiting for an employee to check you out, and having to yell for them or go locate them outside. I think the employees are very rude in comparison to other Dollar Generals. They don’t speak when you get up to the counter to check out unless you ask something and even then it is with attitude. There is no how are you or have a nice day absolutely nothing. It couldn’t have been because I did anything and I wasn’t even the one they got rude with over tue bathroom. I didn’t say anything at all After I said hi and nothing was said back. They also have out of order signs on the bathrooms to keep customers from using them which is ridiculous because I do not know any people other dollar general that does...
