Dollar General — Local services in Lake City

I was there Sunday, Easter afternoon. The woman at the cash register, spoke like she was the manager. She was EXTREMELY RUDE. When I asked about a specific delivery, she told me “truck comes once a week” I asked what day and her response was, “It comes on Wednesday but that don’t mean stuff will be on shelves Wed and that she would only allow one pkg of tp per person. As our discussion cont’d she became angry, sarcastic and disrespectful. I took into consideration that she WAS HAVING TO WORK ON EASTER. I also tried keeping our conversation as positive as I could. She got worse with her words, sarcasm and total disrespect of me, as her customer. The other cashier was very kind to each of her customers, and she too was working on Easter. IF THIS WOMAN WAS A MGR. she should definitely be addressed about her communication skills AND example she’s setting for other employees. This is the VERY FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW I HAVE EVER TAKEN THE TIME TO POST. I prefer to leave positive reviews for any workers, anywhere. This, I hope, allows their supervisors to recognize their employee going above and beyond their call of duty. In closing, this woman was so rude, mean, sarcastic and disrespectful. In an out quickly stores are set the same; so you know where a item can be found no matter what Dollar General your in. Staff is somewhat slow at times. Getting to the register; when they are restocking. Some clerk's have a bad attitude at other stores I've been in. I use the Dollar general on Baya Street in Lake City most of the time. Sometimes I use the Dollar general on highway 90 East they have pretty good service there too. Overall the prices are very compatible with Walmart and service about the same. They usually have what I need but lately it seems they're having a harder time keeping the shelves stocked with specific items germicide mask and other things to use for the covid 19 protection. They have a wide selection of candy and cookies beans and ready mix meals and the frozen section has many of the items I use too. Basically overall it's a good place to stop in and get what you need on the way home from work and you always save time even if the clerks are slow comparably to going to the grocery store or Walmart for those little extra things you need to complete a meal or a treat after the meal paper towel toilet paper toothpaste shampoos just a...

For starters the parking lot has more holes then Swiss cheese. Secondly I went in to file a complaint about CC fraud and possible skimmers. The manager proceeds to tell me sorry we can’t do anything without a police report. News flash if your bank stops the transactions there is no report to file. Skip ahead 30 days I have had 4 debit cards compromised and 2 credit cards. Still nothing from the manager. The last 2 cards were brand new never used anywhere else what happened 3 days later you guessed it credit card fraud. I put in a call to the DM he has yet to call me back. The district manager does all of the stores around here and he is as worthless as a Democrat. DO NOT USE YOUR CARDS AT THIS LOCATION.
