Great fly shop. I’m from Ohio and stopped in a few months ago for the first time and purchased some recommended flies. Caught fish, so I have returned a few times since then. They have a wide selection of gear. Everything from flies, live bait, nets, and even some lightly used rods & reels (which I purchased). I don’t tie flies yet, but they have all the equipment needed. Bill said he can order anything I need also. Every time I’ve been there, Bill & Lisa have shared their knowledge with me about the local waters and have put me on fish. I even hired their in-house fishing guide Bret for a day. Bret put me on fish at some great holes and I learned more about fly fishing in one day then I have in all of last year. The store does everything it has a mini sporting good shop in the back n everything you could ever need up there from gas, food, guns, ammo, fishing licenses and any extra stamps. When I walked in at first I thought it was a little dive convenient store but the more I looked I was in aw at how much they have and do! If u catch a fish you can take them to this great store n they will give you smoked or just filets depending upon the amount you want to spend. I think it's like 16 dollars for a smoked fish. The really nice thing is it is less then five minutes outside the state park were there is great fishing spots n ur right off the lake a thr mouth of a creek. I stopped by Tudor hook and nook for the first time on Thursday dec 8th , first off this place had everything a fisherman would need to be successful, nothing more and nothing less i appreciated the friendly chat I had with the owner , as in he didn’t push products just gave his honest opinion on what he thought would work that day due to his years of experience fishing the creeks .I have been fishing in Erie since the early 90’s and never had single eggs as good as Tudor’s , absolutely the best, they juice and bounce a combination you rarely see , the big fish seem to agree with my...
