House Fabric — Local services in Lake Saint Louis

I ordered fabric on August 12. Still no tracking number. I called this week and they said it should ship by Thursday. I still don’t have a tracking number. My daughter placed an order in April and her fabric was at our door within a week. I’m fairly disappointed in the efficiency of this transaction. I hope to update my review later with positive feedback regarding the actual fabric. In the meantime, I wanted to let anyone ordering online know that it’s not a quick process.

Edited to add: House Fabric has been very diligently keeping me informed as to the status of my order. I added two stars to my prior review because of that. I wish I would have called to ask whether or not the fabric I needed was in stock. Live and learn I guess. I will update my review again when I...

I was in the mood to go exploring for a new fabric store and decided to stop in. I have a few upcoming projects involving heavy fabrics and wanted to see what kind of remnants I could get to try things out. This place didn't disappoint! The quality and selection are great, prices are great. I would say that the store could potentially use a bit of straightening up, but all in all what I needed was there and it was a great price. Best part of all, staff members were readily available and willing to help but were not all over me asking me questions. I'll be going back...

First visit will be my last. Rude is an understatement. Rude on the phone. Rude in the store. The little teenage boy working in the warehouse made a point to come out to inform me that I shouldn't touch any remnants without their approval because they organize them with such difficulty that I would mess up their intricate filing system. (Must be the owner's child.) It's fabric, kid. It isn't brain surgery. Also, very little variety so not great for creativity. Regardless, my advise is to purchase from any other upholstery/fabric store. Don't waste your time...
