Dollar General — Local services in Lake Township

First off filthy store bought a candy bar other day (turtle choc cashew bar) and pulled a huge ball of dust bunny and hair out with it but i didnt leave a bad review cuz the cashiers ive met up til tonight are really nice..guess now that they ran original dollar store outta lake city they feel like they can treat people rude... My kid had an accident so I tried to get her anything to cover herself til we got home, I came in store about 6 min to 10 (no warning they were bout to close) and tried rushing thru their horrible choices /expensive selection they had no pj pants or anything boy or girl 3t then younger cashier looked at me and smiled I said sorry and explained my kids in the car crying without bottoms on I was trying to find something to cover her this chick said nothing just smiled... The older rude chick barges up to me without warning and says I need to go in a rude unsympathetic snippy tone and continues degrading me barging me out like I did something wrong.. Escorting me like a thief! Long day or not I did not deserve to have her take it out on me, I've never seen her before all the other employees are nice... Feeling like a great mom explaining to my kid she has to sit bare butt in car seat all the way to Cadillac... Like she wasn't doing anything to help me find pants in time then no warning bum rushes me... She kept interrupting me I'm beyond furious by this rude chick I came to this store ALOT! But will be on absolute emergency status only I'd rather pay 3x as much as at fosters before I go...

They always have new items and they also have a dollar isle where you can get a smaller version of the product you need if you can't afford the size you usually get. I couldn't believe they had ring pop popsicle makers for $1, like what kid, or kid at heart, doesn't love the ring pop candy?? What could be better on a hot summer day than frozen ring pops in any flavor your...

I love the convenience, but check out is so slow. They have three lines generally one is open. If they are slow employees are normally socking, and u stand at an un attended register.
