My recommendation, don’t do it. Mid season my boat gave me some problems. I took it to Doug, everywhere else was booked solid. He diagnosed a problem with the IO Propshaft I already knew about. Fine I need to get repaired eventually and he said he could do the job for a reasonable price. That wasn’t even the problem I brought it in for. I told him that the tail lights on the trailer were not sealed so unplug them before putting it in. He forgets and blows the tail light. Tells me if I buy a new one he’ll replace it. Fine whatever. I show up to pick up the boat, he’s not even there. Can’t reach him. Couple days later he calls me back and says the boat done finally. I come to pick it up and check out the boat. It looks like some kind of solvent has splashed and dissolved some of the pinstriping. Doug doesn’t seem to know anything about that. I get the boat and pay him. He fixed the prop shaft and also gave the engine a nice lifter tick. Now I can’t even relax out on the water because all I hear is ticka, ticka, ticka, all ride long. Just go somewhere...

Thank you Doug for going the extra mile. BrIan and I cannot thank you enough. He fixed our snowmobiles that were sub par and got them starting/ Turning like butter. He even came out when one of the keys got stuck and broke off in the ignition and fixed it on the spot. To top it all off the fan belt stopped working on the trail so we had to trailer it to his shop to fix and he fixed it over night so that we could go riding for our weekend trip. All while he was dealing with a family situation. I would recommend this shop 10 out of 10 to anyone who needs their toys fixed in lake city, Cadillac and the surrounding areas. Worst customer service! Doug the owner won’t answer your calls and doesn’t follow through on his promises. My family and I had a 3 day weekend planned and the main event was the boat that Doug promised would be ready to go. Unfortunately for our family he wouldn’t call us back to pick up the boat and we had to make new plans. He posted a handwritten note on the door the same day that he told us to pick the boat up stating that he would be closed for the day and would be available the next day.
