I live in a 55 and up park in (Christina area) Southeast Lakeland. I have in Florida for 46 years. They decide to rent acres to Bezos Amazon. This is the no-brainer City commissioners. It's bad enough we have to put up with the new Jets coming in to the airport on a daily basis in astronomical amounts. Now we have to deal with this Sun N Fun noise. Not only do we have to put up with the noise but we have to put up with the jet fuel expulsion. You would think they would know the difference between east and west and south and north. They could give us a break on the east side of Florida avenue by going North and South sometimes. I have PTSD and I have multiple injuries to my body. There's only so much klonopin and pain pills I can take in a day. It's just going to be a matter of time before one of them screws up and ends up in my Park taking out all of us old people. Just remember we have offspring should something like this happen that will sue the s* out of the city and our kids will own Lakeland. Then their sensibility will tell them that North 98 has nothing out there and would be an excellent place for all this noise. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. My husband is the aviation enthusiast, so I was just there to support him. We were here 10 years ago, and there are many more food choices now, as well as a larger variety of shopping, where I was able to purchase a wide brimmed hat to protect my sunburn. Some shops had umbrellas as well.

However, the organizers would do well to provide more shaded areas and seating (benches, or hay bales?). You literally walk miles and it would be helpful to be able to rest your feet, or sit while you wait for a family member. They would then attract more family members who would also purchase food, drinks, and other items, resulting in more revenue. Make sure you wear your most comfortable shoes, bring a wide-brimmed hat with a chin tie, and sunscreen for Exposed Skin. This time there were motorized scooters to rent for those who cannot walk miles. The aviation members of your family will absolutely love it. But I suggest those who are not so thrilled with all things that fly, you try to talk your significant other and just taking someone who has his same passion for it. I don't want...
