Lakeland Marketplace — Local services in Lakeland

First, the Lakeland Marketplace was designed well: the two 4-lane [2 in & 2 out] entrance/exit throughways make getting on and off the (now) very busy Lakeland Highlands Blvd. make getting in and out of the plaza NOT one of the stressful parts of shopping. Second, having one of any amenity and commodity (except for gasoline, which is across the boulevard at Sam's - if you have a membership of course) is also a godsend: Wendy's for a quality-grade hamburger (a little healthier than most others), The Mellow Mushroom for a great pizza pie - with standard to gourmet toppings, Waters (the best in town!) Car Wash - being self-explanatory, and then Lowes and Bealls department stores - which covers most everything department-related, from clothes to tools to appliances to bed sheets, under the Sun. Add AMPLE parking (including seeing three full-length 52' tractor trailers with enough room to park a dozen more at least one day), and your concerns SHOULD be diminished... Did I miss...

I’ve been to this Lowe’s a few times when I’m in Lakeland visiting my favorite aunt fixing things around her place. I’ve found some pretty good deals at this Lowe’s which I like. The layout is similar to my store at home so I already know where things are for the most part. That makes for quick visits even though I sometimes linger longer than I should just to see if they have anything mine doesn’t or I can’t live without. Funny how a store has so many things you just can’t live without. This store has always been spotless inside and out when I have visited. No trash or cigarette butts making the place look dirty. Employees ask if I need any help instead of rushing passed me hoping I don’t say anything to them. Very nice store. I like coming here when...

Customer service is going down the drain here. Within the last year the newer people that work here are rude and not helpful by any means i asked a lady in the paint department if a kind of primer was good, she looks at me and says why would I know that? Really you work in the paint department you should at least have an idea if its good or at least find someone that knows. Lowes needs to clean house and get rid of these people that are just there for a paycheck. So with that said, we just go to...
