UPDATE: On July 23rd I got a voicemail from the manager explaining that there was a mistake and that the number that someone wrote down was incorrect. They managed to track me down by finding my order.
The way the manager handled it is a perfect example on how you deal with something when there is a problem. He didn't try to downplay what happened, and in fact he refunded my entire order and even offered a digital gift card for next time I come in.
Even though initially frustrating, these things happen and I'm glad to see that the manager did the right thing. I updated my review score to reflect this.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I placed an order on July 18th through their website and I only received 1 of 2 items from my order. I called the Lakeland location as soon as I saw there was an issue with my order. The person on the phone knew I was missing my appetizer. I asked for a refund for the missing item and she explained that she was closing out for the night, but she would leave a message for the manager. I said that was fine as long as I got the money back. When I checked my account the following day the money had still not been refunded, and I had not been contacted by the restaurant.I called back on July 19th, and 20th, and left a message about not getting a call back / a refund on the missing item.
Four days later and I've yet to receive a call back or any kind of refund on my card.
I've had missing items with delivery before, but never have I been actively ignored by a location like this. I tried to actually speak to the manager, and the person on the phone just said they would only be able to take a message. When I called the place I didn't give anyone a hard time, and I just explained I wanted to refund for the missing item.
It was a bummer missing a part of my dinner, but I understand things happen. The issue for me is that I've given this restaurant several days and they still haven't reached out to me. If someone reached out to me and explained there was an issue with the refund, but they were working on it I would understand. It's the complete lack of contact and no one actually doing anything to help.
Based on how they handled this issue I won't be frequenting this location again. If I don't hear back from them I guess I'll be contacting my credit card company. Very...

We had planned to kick off my daughters birthday weekend w/ dinner with just family. With her being vegan, people on keto, and the rest of us just hungry our options are limited. We can always rely on mellow mushroom to have a tasty menu that makes everyone happy.
I tried to make this go as smooth as possible so I called first thing in the morning and gave them a heads up I’d be arriving around 7 with maybe 15 people. The guy who answered the phone was very polite and advised though they don’t take reservations they would do their best. And that they did!!
We arrive about 640 we were welcomed immediately and they had my info from my call earlier. Explained that either the 2 large booths in one section or the large table on the opposite side will be enough room for our party. Relieved that they had the tables open in the first place for a busy Friday night I thank them and ask if I can have a minute to decide. I get to talking to some family and do another head count and there’s actually 20!
I apologetically informed the staff that I miscounted and if there’s anything they could do. They said they could bring an extra table and if the booths opened up by the table we could have those too. Knowing how restaurants work, I know that table had to come out of some else’s section. To that server: I’m sorry! I know the $5 that I left for snagging your table isn’t much but please know I’m very thankful!
Finally the majority of our party gets there. Everyone is seated having a great time catching up with each other. The wait staff was amazing! They went above and beyond taking care of us. Very friendly! Always checking if everyone’s order was taken. Pitchers of tea left on the table. Appetizers brought out immediately and not too long after the main event PIZZA!!
We are a very honest family. A little too much sometimes. I expected to hear some kind of complaint from at least a couple of them. But guess what??!!?? Nothing but good! That alone speaks volumes!!

Read moreI haven’t been too this restaurant since about a year after they had opened. But I decided to try it again since a YouTuber (Tampa Jay) from the Tampa area said how good their pizza was. And it looked delicious so I went yesterday around 2:30p after I ordered my food online like I do with other restaurants. I did receive and email that I paid for my order but not a text message. Once I arrived close to the time for my pizza to be ready I found it odd to not yet get my text so I can put my parking spot number in. After waiting for about 5 minutes I decided to go inside to check on my order. The guy at the desk noticed my pizza was made but didn’t know where it was so he went to the kitchen to find it which I appreciated the effort. In the meantime time a young couple came in to wait to be seated. And as they waited longer than they should’ve since it wasn’t busy at all. The guy finally found my pizza which oddly was right behind his station on the warmer by itself! I wasn’t impressed at all with customer service at all. They seem disorganized and confused of what is going on. But I gotta say my pizza was delicious. I would hate for this location to go under when it has much potential to be a booming business because of the unquie way they make their pizzas with garlic cream sauce they drape onto the pizza and their excellent ingredients. The atmosphere of restaurant is super cool as well. I hope they will consider making some much needed changes from the website issue for curbside service to getting more organized and incentives to the employees who are making it happen!! This is why I choose not to give it one star because let this be an opportunity for making things better.
