October 13th we paid for a vendor spot for my small jewelry business for every sunday in November. The woman was direct but I felt like maybe she was just busy and understood. She was a large woman with curly brown hair sitting in the office Brenda Soper. Got our vendor spot Nov 2nd first show, as I was instructed we were to be there between 3am-5am to set up as it opens for business at 5am. We drive from plamt coty (about 20 mins) pull in and walk into her office by 4am. (Giving us the 45 mins to hr to set up before show) when I walked in she tells me that the lady that will show me where to set up isnt there yet but will be in soon. I proceeded to my vehicle as my spouse was in the truck awaiting to help set up. About 30 mins later nobody has told us anything so I prpceeded back into the office. The lady then proceeds to become nasty and rude. "She's NOT here yet just WAIT!!" So again trying to be as patient as possible and never experiencing this at any other show I waited. 445am (15 mins before show starts) tons of vendors are already set up. WE both go back in. "Ma'am can someone please tell us where to set up, if we would have came at 3am we would have been waiting for almost 2hrs?" Lady: ok she is almost done just WAIT! I proceeded to ask for a refund for the entire month I had paid UPFRONT. Lady: OH ABOSLUTELY ILL PAY YOU OUT OF MY POCKET!!" As if I had been rude or pushy we waited almost an hr and until the show was about to start!!! She throws the money on the freezer as if to get rid of me. This woman is miserable I was really looking forward to this show. I am certain the sweet older gentleman that owned it that has now passed on is rolling in his grave right now at the level of rudeness we just experienced. 2-3 hrs loading and prepping. Waking at 3am, driving 20 mins and paying up front for NOTHING!! Thanks...
Read moreWent there this morning as usual we do every weekend but this will be our last time and will never return I have health issues and we had bought a dresser for our child's room solid wood nice piece of furniture I went to pick it up and was very rudely stop by James there manager telling me I could not drive to the vendor to get it loaded he told me I would have to carry it out needless to say with my health the way it is I drove there anyway all the while the manager James was following me around like I was a criminal all I wanted to do is load my merchandise and leave even the vendor was upset as to why I was being harrassed by this manager James I strongly suggest that others that the silver moon drive in swap shop does not cater to the need of the customer and or people with health problems as myself . I was embarrassed as well felt very uncomfortable to the point I will never go there again even for a movie they advertise a family fun place to enjoy well they are sorely mistaken and...
Read moreIt's a large area with many different vendors selling everything from food items like fruits and veg to antiques to tools. You have to hunt for good deals and more likely than not there will be more than one person selling the stuff you're looking for. The only problem is that flea market is all out in the open for the most part so as soon as the sun starts getting up the heat picks up quickly and not many people are willing to sell or buy in the intense heat. It's awkward looking around people's stuff with a flashlight but it's the only way to get good deals early and avoid the murderous...
