We are biased since we know the bartender well! He’s our son! Michael brought his years of experience from the big city(NYC) to the Lake of the Ozarks. Even we were awed by the expertise he brought as a mixologist of spirits. This is an experience like no other at the Lake of the Ozarks. A definite hidden gem to see the bar behind the carved door of 1899 at The Regalia on Horseshoe Bend. Comfortable seating areas that can be intimate as well as welcoming to share with a large group of people. A definite great atmosphere to hold a special event as well as watch the game. Honestly, my wife recommended the lounge just because I'm a cigar smoker, I needed some time away from the family, and she came across the website.

The hotel the lounge is in was having a weed festival of some kind, and I'd known about of that before showing up i wouldn't have given them a chance.

However, the lounge has a beautiful atmosphere, slightly high but reasonably priced cigars with a good veriety, an extensive whiskey selection, very friendly staff, and the bartender, Mike L., is just cool as hell. These people, all of them, are just awesome. The atmosphere is very relaxed (not just because of the festival) (with a beautiful wood bar) yet everyone is content to just let me sit in these beautiful and comfortable leather chairs and just relax while I burn my cigar in peace.

This is my first time here, but it certainly won't be my last!...

Michael is hands down, the best mixologist at the lake and one of the best we've ever had the enjoyment of being served by! The drinks he creates are inspiring to say the least and the favorite thing he makes is the one I call "make me something you've never made before". The selections are pretty much anything you can imagine, just tell him what types of things you like and trust his judgement.
